Gross pizza, burleson really lacks a good pizza place since Roma’s left. This pizza reminded me of something you would make at home just worse.

I tried this place twice, just to say I have it another chance. It was awful both times

The pizza here is good. It was voted the best in Burleson by readers of the paper. We only order pizza here to go though because they allow cigarette smoking in their restaurant. Evidently this is something that is still allowed even though I don’t know of any other places that do this anymore. It definitely makes us think twice about ordering from here as well.

Pizza is like frozen cardboard pizza… Take a step back to the 1970’s place booths, glasses everything… It’s time to retire this place. Would never tell anyone about it.

Best pizza we have ever had. It is constantly awesome. The ladies that work there are so very. Ice every time. I am not a smoker but God bless them this is still America and you can smoke if you want to there.

my husband used to go here when he was child growing up in Burleson. So when we moved back to the area, he said we had to go to go! When we first walked in to Gina’s we were greeted with the smell of cigarette smoke. Apparently you can still smoke inside this restaurant, which is great for those who wish to smoke, but for us non smokers it was a major turn off! The pizza itself was ok! Not great and not bad. just ok a little on salty side for my taste. The price I felt was high! For what we paid I felt as if we should have gotten more. The Service was great! Everyone was very friendly and they even brought a coloring book and crayons for my daughter to color in while we waited. Overall for a a small hometown pizza joint it was just ok. Maybe they would have gotten higher marks if it was a non smoking establishment.

Ordered spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Alfredo and the chicken Alfredo was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I have never ordered from a restaurant that uses canned chicken. I am astonished that a place would use canned chicken for the chicken Alfredo in the sauce was not creamy it was like a clear consistency i am in absolute disgust

Gina’s Pizzaria is best described as what would happen if Waffle House and Pizza Hut had a love child. It’s a greasy spoon type of pizzaria. Gina’s is in its original location where it has been serving Burleson for almost 43 years. According to the waitress we talked to the menu(and my guess the décor) has been the same for almost 43 years. I’ve lived in the area for almost 13 years and this was my first trip to this little hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. My wife had ate there as a kid, but that’s been 20+ years ago. We walked into the restaurant which is located in a little red brick strip center a block off the main drag. We started to sit down but was directed to the counter. We placed our order — a large Gina’s Special and 2 Dr. Peppers. We sat down and waited for our pie which came out piping hot. The wait staff was friendly and answered all of our crazy questions we like to ask in anticipation of Unilocaling about the place. The pie hit the table and we dove right in. The Gina’s Special is essentially a supreme pizza. The crust is a thin hand tossed crust which seemed to hold up well while eating with our hands(as pizza should be eaten). The pizza had just a light smattering of sauce and plenty of toppings. To hold it all together and make it structurally sound there was a heavy layer of melted goodness known as mozzarella cheese. Overall, it was a pretty solid and tasty pizza for a little joint like Gina’s. My one disappointment in the pizza, and I’m really being picky, is that the sauce was a little salty for my taste. It might have just been today’s batch of sauce(assuming they make it in house) so I’ll give them another shot some other day. The last thing I want to comment about was the Dr. Pepper. You are probably thinking, «If you have had one Dr. Pepper, you’ve had them all.» That isn’t the case at Gina’s. They have a good solid syrup to CO2 mixture that makes for a strong taste without to much CO2. They also use big solid«old school» style ice cubes that don’t water your drink down while you are busy with the pizza. Overall, for less than $ 20 the wife and I had a good local pizza in a nice quaint pizza joint. Not some place I’d eat every day, but definitely some place I’ll visit again.

I’ve been going to Gina’s since I moved to Burleson in the mid 70s. Their salad is simple but great. Just the right portion. We love the Gina’s Special! An extreme pizza with the toppings under the cheese. Take out may be your best option since the inside isn’t the cleanest around. Still a great down home pizza joint.
