At the recommendation of our hotel we ate here. I travel to Texas for business frequently and try a lot bbq, and this place was really pretty good. I had the brisket, sausage and chicken combo. The brisket was good(a little overcooked for my taste) but the chicken was fantastic. Often the chicken at bbq restaurants is dry but this was juicy and flavorful. The sausage was good too, moist and a little spicy. I really like that they ask if you want sauce instead of dumping it on. The meat is good enough you don’t really need it. There are plenty of fresh homemade rolls(not the typical Wonderbread) and as much sides as you can fit on your plate. Nice option for trying a bit of everything. I didn’t try dessert but the homemade pies looked good.

Spring Creek! You can NOT go wrong with a pound of lean beef and some rolls, PERFECT dinner for 2! Not to say that we dont enjoy their sides, we totally do. They offer a wide selection, all AMAZING. The service is always impeccable, love the service. They are fun to hear yelling their funny stuff when someone orders a potato ALLTHEWAY– WOO! Just a great place to eat! Very Texas

We have to go to this place whenever we come to Texas from California. I love their chicken and my kids enjoy the ribs. The rolls they they bring around are the BEST.

Always consistent. I grew up in Arlington eating at the original location on Cooper St and they know how to make some great BBQ. Spring Creek is my go-to for BBQ here in town. The staff is friendly, the bread is hot, and to me, it tastes like home.

We have ate here for a long time and I’m happy to report this place is consistently great! The brisket is always tender, has a great flavor to it. The pitmaster never disappoints us. I highly recommend this establishment. Another plus is their ranch dressing is scratch made and delish!

The food is okay, not the best bbq I’ve had, the turkey is the best meat, not too excited about the sides they have, they don’t have much flavor. I like the bread and that they bring it to you fresh out of the oven but the desserts are no good, the were a bit dried out.

Food is OK. Brisket is fairly tender, a little dry. Green beans were good, potato salad has a strange flavor. Fresh bread is great as well as homemade ice cream. Better than Cousins.

One of the best BBQ places near by! Fresh hot food! I love the hot fresh rolls they come by with every 5−10minutes! The baked potatoes stays steaming hot throughout the meal! My kids love the Mac and cheese and brisket! Good food been there 3 times in the last 3 months!

Food is great but the girl baking the bread was not wearing gloves, would push her hair back then touch the food. Used foot to shove some food in the refrigerator. Wiped off counter with her hands, then dumped more bread on it. Never once observed her washing her hands. GROSS!

Eh, it’s okay. It doesn’t really fit Texas BBQ flavors or maybe I just like full flavored meats and sides. Here’s what we tried: turkey– get some sauce for it, ribs– tender, chopped beef– good, potato salad– bland, beans– good, rolls– great. The service is friendly and fast and prices are comparable. I would recommend a good cleaning of the walls next to the booths. Not sure I would eat here again with all the other choices so close by.

I’ve tried their pulled pork sammich before which was pretty good, but decided to try the chopped beef sammich, yesterday. It was even better! Since I haven’t been feeling all that well this week, I decided against getting a plate or platter, so no side orders with my meal; just the sammich and a glass of tea. I’m kind of glad that I did, too. … The guy piled on about a pound of chopped beef between the bun. That sucker was stacked about a mile high! Not a fan of the pricing they have for side orders, though. They’ll nickel and dime you on side items. Get the fries added to it and they’ll charge you over $ 3 just for that. Come on, it’s french fries! Who the hell charges $ 3 for french fries?! They don’t even have chili or cheese on them! I can understand adding $ 3 to it if you’re drownin’ ‘em in chili and cheese(I still wouldn’t eat them that way, but at least I’d feel the $ 3 price was justified!) They do have a friendly and helpful staff, though(… but I ain’t payin’ $ 3 for them to smile at me. Maybe I can smile at them and get some of my money back… but I doubt it) :)

The food has good flavor but make sure you ask for fresh meat when you go. I noticed the food had been sitting on the grill for awhile and asked for fresh meat then they accommodated me. The sides are all you can eat. They also come around to the tables and offer fresh rolls out of the oven about every 10 minutes.

Stopped in for lunch here last week, because the sign said«barbeque» on it. It’s set up pretty much like a fancy cafeteria. You go through the line and order brisket or ribs or sausages, and then you heap on all the veggies you can fit onto your plate from steam tables. Fill up a soda, pay the cashier, and find a place to sit down. The food is not bad at all. I enjoyed my brisket. The veggies were not what I came here for, but I felt that I had to eat a lot to get my money’s worth. While eating, they had some waitress-types there offering us more bread, and, later on, ice cream. The ice cream was actually really fabulous — except it had no chocolate! I’m not even sure why they offered us ice cream, since I didn’t order any, and it was on the menu with a price next to it. Hm. Oh well, I enjoyed it anyway.

This is the best of all the BBQ chains. Like the other reviewer, I grew up in Arlington and ate at that location all the time. Can’t beat the hot rolls. The sauce is also pretty good compared to other chains.

The meat is wonderfull, the cobbler has added more than just a few pounds to my stomach. The one thing that I have issues with is their BBQ sauce, and since this is a BBQ resturant that is why it only got 2 stars. The sause is very watery and has very little flavor, again since thi sis a bbq place that is a problem.
