Walmart Supercenter

Trisha Yearwood’s Facebook page and TV news said there was a cook book signing today from noon to 2 PM. I drove from near Aledo to this Walmart in Burleson to be here at 12 noon. They gave only 200 tickets away hours earlier. Total waste of my time and gas. They should have communicated things. I was going to purchase 5 books and have them signed for gifts. The female employee spoke very rudely to me when I asked if there was anyway to be able to do it. She would make a good prison warden. Their loss. I’m disappointed that Trisha Yearwood did not make them communicate things better.

Every time I go in there I have to wait. The line is always long so after spending 30 minutes in line it is finally my turn. Here is the time frame of my last visit. 2:15, I am the 3^rd person in line, 2:45 it’s finally my turn. I am told that even though my wife had called in her refill the day before it was not ready. She told me it would be about 20 minutes. I’m cool with that, so I go and walk around the TV area for awhile. Right around 3:00 I get back in line, 3:20 it is my turn again. The previous lady who I spoke with before had went on break so I talked with the other girl and she told me that one of the prescriptions was ready but the other was not but would be in 10 minute. She said she would call me back up when it was ready. Right around 4:00 the other lady comes back and I am still sitting there. At 4:18 I get an automated call on my cell phone saying the prescriptions are ready to be picked up. I am sitting right in front of them about 4 feet away. So I get up and talk told the first lady that I just received the call and wondered why they just didn’t call me up there. She apologized and started to look for it. I am not angry with her by the way, she seemed like the only one who cared I was about to be late for work. She must have looked everywhere twice looking for the meds. After asking everyone about it, one of the pharmacists said he had given it to the second girl I talked to 30 minutes prior to the phone call they gave me. By this time it is 10 minutes till 5:00. I wasted 3 hours of my time having to sit and wait for unorganized incompetence. This is the last time I will ever ever ever get anything filled over there. Wife already transferred her scripts to Keene Pharmacy, the best pharmacy in my opinion. The only reason I gave it a two and not a one is because of the first lady who went above and beyond trying to find the meds, I wish I caught your name, I feel for you having to work with those people. (It’s not the young one)
