Very very simple gas station. Not much to offer in the store. They did my smog check in a timely manner but the young man who did it could’ve had a little bit more enthusiasm. it seemed like he was depressed to be helping customers. But hey he got my smog check done, so whatever.

Awesome service. I thought I would end up leaving my car but they only took 10 minutes to get the SMOG done. It was amazing. Very nice men too.

I came here because the website states that they are open on Sundays until 5pm. I needed a smog test and couldn’t do it during the week. I arrived at 3:55 and was greeted with «We’re closed. No more smog checks!» I stated that their website says they are open until 5pm. He said, «We’re closed. I have to go somewhere.» I was about to say something and he came back and said «What year is your car?» Then said, «I will do it really fast. I don’t want a bad Unilocal review.» I can’t leave a completely good review or a bad review. He completed my smog test at a fair price, however, he was very rude. Not friendly in my opinion at all. Maybe he had somewhere important to be, but that is no excuse. This is why I gave 3 stars.

Got a smog check today, I was in and out within 10 minutes, I highly recommend this place friendly staff too.

They have inaccurate gas pump. takes 3 gallons to fill up a 2 gallon gas can.

This place is awesome and fast. I showed 2 minutes before closing and they still did the smog check. Done in 15 mins. Very nice guys and they honored the Unilocal deal. I highly recommend.

I had to write a review after what happened to me an hour ago, This NEVER happened to me before,
I pulled in to get gas and the attendant came out, asked me to wait 5 or so minutes as he was in the process of LOWERING the price. The price was 8 cents lower. If this is the way they treat customers, I’ll have to come back!!! Maybe make this place regular place.

Just took my car in for an oil change and the mechanic told us that we still had months left for oil. After thanking him he politely told me to have a fabulous day and not to spend for unneeded things. WOW superb! First mechanic I’ve met that actually cared about the money I’m spending. He could have easily taken my money but he was honest, super friendly and amazing! Next time I really need an oil change going back here. Thank you man and mans friend that said I have a good solid car!

One of my most pleasant car service visit, period.
Few months back I needed to get smog check done and thought I’d give this place a try because of the hours (most shops in the area seem to close at 5pm, this one closes at 6pm). I was greeted in a friendly manner, and the whole process took just minutes. Attendant was laid back and easy going yet very informative. I was impressed.
Today I needed an oil change and decided to give this shop another try. The attendant’s name was Anthony if I remember correctly and he was very informative, friendly, and easy going. It was especially impressive to see how he took his time to do the job (even if it’s just oil change) and didn’t rush through the process. Not a single spill onto the engine compartment, and I’m talking w/​o a funnel. Superb.
Lastly the prices are reasonable too. 5-​stars!

These guys are so great. I came here a little over a month ago to get a smog check, and the mechanic was happy to give me the awesome Unilocal deal without me even having to mention it! (Granted, I did know about it prior to pulling in, so I would’ve mentioned it if he hadn’t.)
On my way home today, I noticed that my car was due for an oil change. It’s 6:30pm, and I’m thinking to myself, there’s no car shop nearby that would still be open for business. I decide to test my luck at Burlingame 76. I saw the mechanics still outside, so I pulled over and asked if it was too late for them to do an oil change. «Sure, why not» is what one of them said. So they drove my car into the shop and did their thing.
The mechanic, who worked on my car, even offered to find me a good deal for my synthetic oil change. «If you want to go with the lesser known brand, it will cost you a lot less, if you are interested.» Granted, I stuck with the more well-​known brand, but I was very grateful that he offered the alternative and wasn’t so money hungry like so many mechanics out there are.
Even more, they offered to clean my air filters for free (which I obviously accepted), but suggested that I get them changed out the next time I visit. Bottom line: These guys are so friendly, considerate and honest — and they provide fast service! I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to come here.
Oh, and the mechanic who did my smog check last time, remembered who I was. I was a bit taken aback since it had been a while and I don’t always see myself as a memorable person, but the fact that he recognized me (and probably even makes the effort to remember a lot of his customers) made me smile.

my husband had his smog check here and said the guy was nice, so I came here also. He really is nice! It was a very quick and easy procedure so I’m not sure what else there is to say except that I’ll come here for my next smog check. I wonder if he does oil changes?

The price of a standard smog check can vary between $ 35-​$ 65. One wonders why there is such a price difference? Every certified smog check station has the same equipment and uses the same test software. So why pay extra when you don’t have to.
For one, this test station is very conveniently located on El Camino Real. Two: Jaba is super friendly and efficient. Three: if you check-​in on Unilocal,you get a $ 10 discount!

I hate smog checks. Just another tax we pay to live in CA I guess. My car is a few years old and passed smog just 6 months ago. DMV wants a new test because I’m selling it? Sure makes a lot of sense (sarcasm).
I search my trusty Unilocal app for cheap places. I really don’t care. Just give me my passing smog papers. I know its clean. I find Burlingame 76, which in my mind is actually toeing the border of Millbrae. Anyway I wait for the smogger and out comes a pleasant gentleman from Georgia (the country). His name — Jaba. Probably one of the nicest first impressions I have ever got from a mechanic type. Very friendly and genuine.
Get in get out about 20 or so minutes. Quick and no trying to up sell or BS about this and that. jaba accepted my Unilocal deal of $ 30 for smog plus $ 8 for papers.
No hesitation will recommend this place. Look no further folks.

FAST and cheap (er) than other smog check places! I called earlier in the day to make sure they would be open after work. No appointment needed but I’m glad I called earlier since when I arrived there were 3 cars ahead of me waiting to get smogged. The guy remembered I called so he made sure I would be able to get smogged before he closed. The entire process took about 15 min (SO FAST!) I didn’t even have to show the coupon and he gave me the cheap price!
Only issue is that I found out he told me my gas cap was loose and so I thought that was a precautionary advice for me. I didn’t realize he did something to my cap which made it not FIT into my gas can anymore (I JUST filled the tank a few days earlier so I KNOW the cap was fine). I found this out a day later when my car went crazy and had the check engine light on. I had to go to O’Reilly’s just to buy a new cap :(

nothing special. usually have some of the best prices for gas though. just down from Milbrae Ave in Burlingame (across the street from Café Roma)
