All Brands Vacuum

Rick is a big A-​hole. I had some questions about an issue I was having with my vacuum cleaner so I took it to this store because All Brands is an authorized dealer. Rick looked at it and answered my question and showed me the compartment that has a hidden filter that most users don’t know about. I thought…“Wow, this guy is so nice and knowledgeable!” He suggested that I should buy a back-​up filter, which he didn’t have in stock. I didn’t really need the filter at the time, but I ordered and prepaid for one anyways because he was helping me out. He told me that when the filter comes in, he will call me to pick it up. He never called, and a few months had passed. I went into the store with my receipt that I kept in my wallet. Rick told me that they still did not have the item in stock, and he said that when he DID have it in stock he called me but didn’t leave a message. Such bullshit. I told him that I don’t live around there, and I wanted my money back since he didn’t have the product anyways. He pointed to his sign at the counter that says, «All Sales Are Final». I told him the sale is not final since he didn’t have the product I ordered and it’s been several months already. He refused to refund my money. I decided to leave the store and dispute the transaction through my credit card company. My advice to anyone… Go elsewhere!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! You seriously should consider replacing your machine before having this place say they repaired it. He forever has one note or another on the door, stating he will return at a certain time, then doesn’t. Had my carpet cleaner for 3 weeks. after 2 days and 3 trips down there to pick it up, when he wasn’t there. I had to sit there for 1 !/@ hours waiting for him to «check it» (no lie). Get it home ($ 110.00) and it’s worse! Bring it back, he has it 2 more weeks, calls me to get it. Says he will only charge me for the part $ 30.00 no labor, cuz it is the 2^nd time. Go get it, his wife is there. As she is charging me $ 40.00 explaining that they did not replace anything, that was just the charge for labor. Still does not work. Tossed it and his number.

I always go in to buy Kirby bags or belts… Betty is a wonderful kind person, helped me with my needs… I have also given in the vacuum for service & had a good experience. Thank you both for taking care of my vacuum.

If there’s anyway that I can give this place zero stars I would. But Unilocal doesn’t provide that option.
Basically what happened was that this guy won’t refund me and my mom money for a vacuum that they purchased on will call. Even though this is a no return policy store, the integrity of the owner Rick is in question. He is so untrustworthy. Miele Corp said that if the vacuum hasn’t left the warehouse or is in role call still, we should receive a full refund for a $ 500 vacuum. The person from miele Corp customer service even called in to the store in which the guy/​owner Rick still haven’t called back. This guy has no authority. Even though it is his own business, he can say that miele Corp has no authority over him. Is it possible to be a direct dealer of a CORPORATION and having the corporation not have control on him at all? Such a liar. In no way is this store and the way this guy treats it’s customers a way for them to be a «direct dealer» with miele. He not only says bad things about who they are supposedly supposed to sell for but also about other brands too like Dyson. He talked so much crap about other companies too, he can even talk about costco saying what costco sells isn’t good and their vacuums aren’t good. What does this guy know about Costco if he doesn’t work for costco?
As far as law enforcement that was called in, I totally understand why they weren’t able to do anything. Totally would give them praise for how they handle this situation with a store owner that doesn’t know what he is saying or doing. All this guy can do is call law enforcement. Even when we left and was trying to go another store in the Plaza, he told my sister that he owned the entire Plaza and that it’s his private property. He told her that the cops said all of us can not be in the Plaza which is not true because there is no restraining order and he doesn’t own the plaza.
Rick, the owner and sales person of All Brands Vacuum, is an untrustworthy pathological liar. I would recommend you to not do any deals with this guy. No one should go through all this trouble of purchasing ONE, again ONE vacuum. Please miele corporation, take this guy off your direct dealer list.

I’ve been a customer for many years, and continue coming back because of the amazing service I get. All Brands never fails to get things done on time, with fair pricing, and friendly service from both the owner and his wife. Keep supporting local business!

Five weeks ago I stopped by this store and paid for product and was told that it would have to be ordered and delivery should be no more than three or four days. The owner (Rick) said that he would call when it was available. After ten days and no phone call I called and received an announcement of store hours and instructions to leave a message. The voicemail box was full, so I drove to the store the following day (during posted store hours) and the store was closed. I repeated that process for three weeks to no avail. After at least ten calls and six trips I «lucked out» and the store was open. I had anticipated an apology and delivery of my purchase; instead I was greeted with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. I requested a refund and was told «all sales are final» and «I have better things to do than to be here during the day.»
After I defused the situation, he called the company from his workshop in the back room; I could hear the conversation and it became apparent that my product had not been ordered as «Rick» implored the vendor to «help me out» with a two day shipping option. Three days later Rick called to say that my order was in and that he would be at the store until five PM. I was at the store within one half hour and the store was closed with a sign that read «be back in 15 minutes». I waited more than one half hour and had decided to leave when Rick drove up. Without an apology, he delivered my product. I am stunned that companies such as Oreck, Hoover, etc. maintain a relationship with this business. A one star rating is too good for this business.

All Brands Vacuum calls itself a service repair business. The service is taking your money and there is no repair involved. They are impossible to reach on the telephone and do not return calls. We took in a sewing machine for repair. After more than one month, repeated calls and visits the machine was returned with a $ 100 repair bill. It would not sew and was worse than when we took it in.
The proprietor did return most of the money when we complained.
My advice; find someplace else to repair your small machines.

We’ve had Rick recondition & clean out vacuum & change belts, filters, the brush. He’s always so lovely and never fails to have the vacuum work like new. Thank you!

I found this vacum store in the yellow pages.
I called and a gentleman named Rick said I could come by.
I brought in my Hoover vacum and he did a little work on it, and I was very happy.
The price was very reasonable. It was working like a new vacum.
I couldn’t have been happier.
I highly recommend this place.
Call before you go. Again, ask for Rick. He is very professional and pleasant.

this mofo gets zero rating. not only is the store never open/​or they never answer the phone, but he took 3 weeks to call me to «tell me» my vacuum was fixed. it just needed a belt change… i doubt my vacuum required parts imported from mars…
I called multiple times, left messages, and NOTHING.
I had to buy a new vacuum due to the inconvenience.
DO NOT SEEK SERVICES from this unprofessional «business owner».

I had two nice vacuums repaired and reconditioned at all brands vacuum.
My vacuum’s were older but I was told that they were worthy of the maintenance and informed that the new models were also much lighter and had some additional features. The sales person was never pushy just informative and really tried to understand how I currently use my vacuum.
When I went to pick up vacuums I asked a few more questions and ended up buying a new vacuum. The sales person again just provided the information and let me know how it would fit into my lifestyle best. There are do many models of meile and he makes it really easy for you to choose the correct one for your household. Thanks!

Went there last week. A sign posted on door saying «Be back at 4:30». Waited over 20 minutes past 4:30 no one shows up even after ½ hour. This business owner has gone downhill never opens or no one is ever there! Do call before you show up because these people are so unreliable! Not like what it use to be. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else and not waste time with them!

DO NOT GO HERE! I had 2 vacuums that needed repair. He did such a bad job on both, I had to toss them shortly after. He will not guarantee his work and is verbally abusive/​does not reason. Today walking by his shop, a customer was arguing with him because of the money he paid and it still doesn’t work. A woman walked by and said he won’t take back the wrong part he sold her; she went in to talk about it and yelling ensued. Do not go here. You’ve been warned.

I appreciate that these guys helped me get the part I needed for my Oreck. However, their communication over the phone was continually weak, and I found the employee (proprietor?) to be manipulative; not a direct communicator; trying to sell me things or pay for things I didn’t want, need, or ask for. … But other than those things, they had the part that I needed.

I took my vacuum to this company on Monday ⁹⁄₁₀ there was a sign saying they would be back at 3:00 the next thing I knew the neighboring store posted a sign saying he wouldn’t be in at all. I went back the next day and he promised me it would be fixed the by Wednesday so I went back again — he wasn’t even there, I went back up on Thursday and told me hadn’t ordered the part yet, be ready for me the following Monday by ⁹⁄₁₆ at 1:00. I showed up at 4:30 and he was working on it. Don’t bother to call he doesn’t answer his phone his message box is full. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. They should close there doors as quite a few of his customers are fed up.

This was one of the WORST experiences we’ve ever had. These people (being the owner and his wife) kept our vaccuum for 3 ½ weeks when it was to be fixed in a week and were NEVER there to answer a phone or let alone open their store! When we questioned the validity of their way of doing business they made us feel like the rude and ridiculous ones. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! RUDE, CRIMINAL LOOKING AND ACTING OWNERS. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. GO TO B STREET IN SAN MATEO WHERE VACCUUM REPAIR PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Prices are fair, service exceptional, and also has quite an assortment of vacuum bags. I thought I was going to need a new vacuum, but he fixed it and even cleaned it thoroughly… a great find!

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. They rarely answer the phone and are hardly ever open. I’ve left them messages and never received a phone call back. I call and stop by during posted business hours and NO ONE is there.
On the rare occasion someone answers the phone they tell me they’ll call me back and never do. Now their phone voicemail is full and no longer accepting message.
They’ve had my vacuum for almost 2 months now and I’ve never received an update on the repairs. At this point I’m just trying to get my vacuum back ((presumably not even fixed) but I can’t get in touch with anyone.

I bought a cool little Panasonic vacuum from the owners of the shop. Great experience, no one tried to force me to buy something more expensive. The vacuum works great. I will definitely go back for any/​all accessories, etc.
