I’m about to go for my second visit with this Doc. I have ingrown issues that have plagued me for 50 years. He trimmed them 3 months ago and I’ve been pain free so far. I thought at first he trimmed them too short and when they grow back it would cause me much discomfort, but so far so good. Now they don’t look like Howard Hughes feet anymore. My kids and grand kids actually don’t gag when i wear flip flops around the pool. J

«Blundering Bulkin?» as kja called him, saved my mother’s life – literally. So, that’s good enough for me. He also made house calls to care for my immobile mother. When she became too ill to care for at home and went into a nursing facility, he cared for her there until she passed away. He was incredibly kind and patient with her.
So, if this is «blundering» conduct, the medical profession is in sore need of a good deal more of it.

Stunned to read that Bulkin is competent. Soccer moms call him Blundering Bulkin! He operated on my foot and left me with a toe that was almost vertical. The physical therapist didn’t know what to do. When I saw a competent professional it was too late to correct. He didn’t splint my toe to pull in down down when first unwrapped after surgery! A 2^nd surgery with another dr. left me just as badly off as the Bulkin surgery damaged the structure. My health has deteriorated since one cannot walk properly if the big toe doesn’t touch the ground. If you search online you’ll find a link that leads to … Bulkin operated on the wrong foot of a patient and lost his privileges to operate for 6 months. BEWARE of BULKIN! He’s a charming fellow but a podiatrist to avoid. I’m not the only one whose life he has damaged. When I called the Podriatist Association in Sacramento they seemed anxious for me to place a complaint. They knew him so weren’t surprised his carelessness not to splint my toe to bring it down! I didn’t file a claim since my time must be spend improving my health after the disaster of Bulkin’s clumsiness and carelessness. Do not walk but run away from Bulkin!

I have been seeing Dr. Bulkin on & off since 2011. First it was a never ending stress fracture on the ball of my foot and more recently it’s been annoying plantar fasciitis. Not only is he great to work with and has a cool & funny personality, but all of his staff is very friendly and sweet too. I would definitely recommend anyone I know to him!

Not sure why the last negative review but I am so happy I saw Dr. Bulkin.
I had gone to see my pcp today for severe pain in my feet, I wanted a referral for a podiatrist and she sent me across the hall to see him and they took me in right away.
He answered all of my questions and spent so much time explaining my issues.
I’m not planning surgery just yet but he seems competent and knows his stuff. He’s been around for years! I saw him over 20 years ago for a couple of issues and he took great care of me then too!
I’d totally recommend Dr. Bulkin.
Plus his staff was friendly and helpful.
