I had the best experience here. The owners were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and super nice! The person ahead of me also got service beyond the call of duty! I am female and not young. In 2 other local smoke shops I was totally ignored by the owners watching a game and hanging out in the back. So I was waiting for the same treatment here. Boy was I wrong. I scored the most beautiful velvet lined cigar box and another smaller one they told me about and they gave me some of the cigar labels from the cigars their friends in the back were smoking for my project for free. I almost wish I smoked cigars just so I had an excuse to inhabit this store. They have treasures all over the walls including a cigar box ukulele!!! I just can’t say enough nice things about this local treasure!

I have looked EVERYWHERE for the CAO Maduro L’Anniversaire, and Burlingame Tobacconists had them in stock.
Terrific selection of cigars (one of the most extensive selections in the Bay Area). Great deals and a great manager (owner?).
I will be back here. If you are looking for some of the best cigars at reasonable prices and getting good deals (like buy 2 CAO cigars, get a CAO free, etc).

Very extensive selection of tobacco accessories and necessities. Mario shared a small portion of his extensive knowledge and experience in the finer points of cigars. This is must stop for anyone who enjoys a good smoke. You will not be disappointed in this cigar store find. Thanks for sharing.

Went last night to buy a gift for a friend for an upcoming birthday. The owner was extremely helpful to help me pick out cigars since i don’t have a clue about them.
He was extremely polite and informative, which I appreciated.
They also have a good selection of cigarettes. My friends got fantasias since they’re so colorful and fun and they have dunhills.

Well we were on the way to the airport and my son wanted one last stogie before the 13 hour flight to Paris. He loves this place and highly recommended it. We walked there from our sandwich stop and man oh man do these guys have a selection and know their stuff. I could easily understand why this in one of his favorite shops (and he travels coast to coast — driving — and hits store across the US).
If you love cigars, you are going to love this place.

I was called upon to purchase Davidoff cigarettes. Thanks to Unilocal,I found Burlingame Tobacconists, gave them a call and they said they had the «Slims» in stock — and so off I went to pick them up.
The nice gentlemen who I spoke to over the phone was the same guy who sold me the packs. He even educated me on what other brands of cigarettes have the smoothest flavor. Incidentally, we got to talking about who was «Zino Davidoff» and how well known Davidoff Cuban cigars would be! He said — «Châteaux Series cigars were out of this world and a Cuban-​made Davidoff Dom Pérignon with its namesake, Dom Pérignon champagne» was named after the infamous champagne. Talk about getting an education on history of cigars and cigarettes. I’m a bit of a history buff myself so how cool is that?
I walked away from Burlingame Tobacconists knowing two things:
1. History of Davidoff and other better brand smooth cigarettes.
2. I know where to buy my Asian friends their cigarettes from hereon.
