Lived there for a year and a half. Nice neighborhood. The building itself was clean but old. Most apt complex in the area were old and this one was about average. Pros: — Safe and quiet neighborhood. — Close to all major transportation and grocery stores. 15 mins walk to bart/caltrain in millbrae. A few big grocery stores in 10 mins walk. — Quick maintenance. Usually things got fixed in a day. Cons: — Rent was high and it keeps increasing. Normal for the bay area though. — Very hard to get in touch with the building manager before i became a tenant. I was living in another state and found this property randomly online before i moved to CA. Called the phone number on its website many times but always went to a full voice mail box. Then sent a few emails with no response. Finally I had a chance to talk to the building manager until I contacted Woodmont Real Estate Services who was the property owner. — Before I moved out, I cleaned the apt inside and out. Wiped down the refrigerator, vacuumed and cleaned all drawers and cabinets. I am a clean freak and had no pets so I can assure it was clean. Received my security deposit check a month later only to find that more than a few hundred dollars were taken away for sanitizing the carpets and repainting the walls. Everything might be more expensive here in the bay area but that was way too much!

I don’t know why there isn’t any review on this apartment. This is awesome apartment to live if don’t mind not having fitness center in the apartment. Pro: –super quite at night. It’s middle of residential area and far from busy street. –SUPERAWESOME manager on-site. Ben was my most favorite apartment manager ever! very nice and friendly guy. Your sink broke? he will come in same day or next day to fix it. :D He fixes most of stuff. Also, before I moved in, I requested to few things and it was all done before I moved in. =D It was quite tedious request but he was all nice about it. –Pet allowed! both a cat and small dog. just need to put extra deposit. –walking distance to Millbrae Bart/Caltrain station. it only takes 15mins walk. nice light exercise in the morning and at night. –walking distance to 24hrs Walgreen, 24hrs CVS, starbucks, yoga class and Grocery store. it’s on the way to the apartment. –Convenient to get on 101 and 280. –You fly around a lot? too lazy to get on bart and walk to the apartment? it’s less than $ 15(include tip) to get here with cab. Cons:(really depend on people, this never bothered me so i didn’t take star off) –Super Cold. It’s Millbrae… it gets really cold… what can you do… apt has heater but I never used it due to hating dry hot air. –you can’t buy extra parking lot. street parking can get bit tricky depend on the time. I was live by myself, so it was never problem. But if you have more than one car, meh. –I’m not sure it’s just my unit or other unit has same problem, not enough hot water. specially when someone use kitchen sink, and you take shower, shower water will be ice cold. only happened few times when my family was visiting and not knowing I was using shower. but living by myself, it was never problem, cuz I can’t or no reason to run the water on the sink and take shower. So I didn’t bother to ask manager to fix it. But if it’s problem with you and ask manager to fix it, i’m sure he will fix it quick. that’s about it.(phew it was long) Overall I had great experience living there. I happen to be moving back to Millbrae area again and I wanted to move back there but sadly no vacancy at the time. :(
