They play some really great music! Enjoyed the variety with all my friends. People go to dance, so everyone there is actively up dancing. This makes people who don’t dance on the regular comfortable. There were a lot of couples; myself and few friends were visiting from LA so we are accustom to dancing salsa/bachata. With that said not your usual«ask people to dance» club, but like I said still had a blast. There are tables and chairs. Only thing, they didn’t really play bachata. Hope this place gets more active. Will visit again.

There are not many dance clubs in the Bay Area dedicated to Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue social dancing. I came here for a Bachata festival. This place is in need of an upgrade but I see how that might be difficult give the building it is housed in. They also need a larger sign. I’ll keep going back.

I went to a private party here and was amazed at how nothing has changed since the last time I was here – maybe 15 years ago. The bathrooms are outdated, gross and dark, the tables and chairs are old, this entire place could use a remodel. The signage outside is completely torn to shreds. How would anybody know this is Caribbean Gardens? The owner really needs to invest some money into this place. What a dump. PS-Please take down the tacky spider webs that are above the bar and do something about that awful sound system!

It’s ok. The club is located where there are offices so the layout is weird there’s even office cabinets on some corners. I know that clubs play really loud music but this club’s music was waaaayy too loud to the point where it sounded like the speakers were going to be explode. Dj played good music all night. Variety of everything from hip hop to Cumbia, salsa, reggaeton, bachata, Banda and some light rock. Drinks are cheap but there’s only one person working the bar I felt bad for him but even so the service is quick. Tends to be an older crowd like 26 and above. Doesn’t get too full so there’s space to dance but not a lot of tables to sit so a lot just stand around. Cover is not too expensive $ 10. People got in with wearing sneakers and hoodies so not really about dressing to impress. Lots of parking. I would come back again.

Love this place. People actually go to dance and enjoy the great music(salsa, merengue, cumbia, etc.) Great to go on a Sunday.

If you like Caribbean music and Latin ambiance, you will also give this place 5 stars. I especially liked the dj’s, the lights and the dance floor. The dj’s played awesome Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggaeton, and even some great hip hop! I am also an avid dj and love dancing to Latin music dj’s. They can really get the ritmo loco going! I was very happy with the music, and they even had all the videos going live! It was awesome. I will definitely be attending more nights at Caribbean Garden. Thanks! djmatt

This place is awesome, of course is a bit small but the atmosphere is there. You get your drinks fast, there is always always GREATDJ’s I don’t think of a time when I came and they had a wacked dj, they play all kinds of music, LATINOFCOURSE, but the end of the nite they will play some hip hop too and pump up the vibe, like I said it is a bit small but when you go to big clubs is crowded too so why complaint? Your going to a club to chill dance there is always a crow wouldn’t you expect that? Anyways the place is cool. :D been coming here for years, Sundays yes sundays get popping

I really have enjoyed myself here the times I have gone to this club. Dance till they close… The Music is good & the DRINKS are not pricey. they could use more deco in the bathrooms but otherwise its not bad!!!

Not anything like the Caribbean. Freezing ass cold in March at night. Close the damn door.

this review is for the venue only. not the music or the live act i enjoyed. PROs: — didn’t have to cross a bridge to get there — Knuckles Sports Bar was across the street at Hyatt — outside smoking area was large & a welcome break from too loud music(even in the cold) — drink prices were very good CONs: — sign was not lit on Old Bayshore to alert you of location(passed it once) — parking lot was very dark — after ordering one Grey Goose with cranberry juice, i was told there were out of vodka(at a bar?!) — $ 10 cover was way too high for venue — sound guy did not know what he was doing — DJ music before and after live act was way too loud i will not return unless i am interested in another live act

I don’t know why some people trashed this place in their reviews because I had a fantastic time on a Sunday night after Jelly’s in SF. The music was great, awesome dancers, parking right out front, decent prices at the bar. I loved it!

This place is small with a really low ceiling, not a good combination for dancing Salsa… I prefer a bigger dance floor for salsa.

This place has good music, and that’s about the only good thing about this place. They play the music too loud, my ears were ringing after ten minutes and I had to stuff napkins in my ears to stand it. The place was packed, to the point where the fire marshall would of closed the place down. The trek to and from the bar was like an adventure because it took so long. The worst thing was that I waited a good 30 to 40 minutes for get three drinks. They tried to make it up by giving me a free shot of patron, but still, where people are waiting on you for there drinks, that doesn’t make it up. Overall, if the people that own the place manage it better, they can make the place better, like I said good music is a start.
