Frank Tortorice, MD

Dr. Tortorice is very approachable and compassionate. He has been my doctor for almost two years and I have been very pleased. He doesn’t rush you and he answers all of your questions. He always makes me feel that he is concerned with my health. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile on their face. I would highly recommend him.

Visited in early March to specifically address chronic back pain I’ve been experiencing since January. Asked the physician for an MRI to determine the issue. Was advised that «insurance can be tricky» and was sent to radiology for an X-​ray. Was told I would have results in a few days. By end of the week I did not receive a call, phoned their office, and was told X-​ray results negative. I asked when I would be able to get the MRI I asked for initially as I am still in pain, and was told there was not yet one scheduled and a call back request with the physician was placed. No call back was ever attempted by Dr. Tortorice. I sought medical advice elsewhere. The office phoned the following week to ask if I would make my scheduled appointment for a physical. I advised their services were no longer required. I received a bill for the X-​ray.
I saw Dr. Delatore in SF, who within 1 hr performed a series of strength tests and was able to schedule an MRI for the following week. I had the results of the MRI before end of that day and was scheduled for a consultation with neurologist Dr. Weber the following week. I have since been diagnosed with a herniated disc at L4-​L5 and surgery is likely the only remaining option.
The people in this office are incompetent and I have been victimized by their apathy. Proceed at your own risk.
