Karma is FANTASTIC!
I have been through the ringer with colorists in the Bay Area. The last one (Jenny @ Aqua) kept pawning me off on other colorists — some of whom called to cancel two days before my scheduled appointment because they, «decided to take the day off» (grrrr).
Karma took me on a Sunday. She’s incredibly gentle, great with long hair, colored my hair perfectly (no hot roots). conditioned my hair… I was so happy when I left that day. I’m going back again in two weeks, and can’t wait to see her.
Score! (Now if I can find a «Karma» facialist, waxer and pilates person, I’d be all set!)

Karma is very experienced with hair. She’s fixed mine about 3 times after I went too blond. I really like her and highly recommend her.

I love seeing Karma. For one, I have always been really happy with my haircut– she is secure enough in her skills to check in with you as she goes about how you like what she’s doing. I love that. This is not a cookie cutter experience, and I love it that way– you will too! I have never in my life been so loyal to one hairdresser. She’s also got practical suggestions about how to get your hair to look good at home without spending a fortune. Her haircuts are really reasonable.
In addition to her wonderful skills, talking to Karma as she cuts your hair is a pleasure– a real soulful experience– seriously. You can probably cancel therapy the week that you get your haircut, and maybe for a couple of weeks after. Karma is just one of those wise women who knows how to put things in perspective. I feel so lucky to have found her, not just for great hair, but for the personal connection. Enjoy this wonderful woman!

Karma knows curly hair and is fantastic with color. She really listens to what is working and what is not working with your hair style and can be trusted to help you through a changing style or look. I’ve been going to Karma for over six year. Highly recommend her.
