Dr. Hallsted and Linda are AMAZING! I’ve had a stain/​calcium deposit on my front tooth since I was a kid and after a lot of thinking I decided I wanted to fix my smile. I had another dentist recommend Dr. Hallsted for a veneer or bonding. We decided to whiten my teeth before and then do the bonding and I’m SO happy with it! I was on a tight timeframe before leaving for school and Linda was so accommodating by meeting me around my schedule. The bonding procedure went great, Dr. Hallsted was amazing when it came to putting me at ease and taking care that I didn’t feel a thing. Procedure lasted close to two hours, left incredibly happy. I highly recommend this dentist!

I would recommend finding a different dentist in the Burlingame area. I went here in March of 2012 because they were part of the insurance network I was covered with. Because this was the very first appointment at this office, and with this dental coverage, I asked them specifically whether the services I would receive were «fully covered,» because I did not want to get hit with a big co-​pay afterward. Supposedly they called my insurance company and then told me that yes, my services were «covered.» Several weeks later I received a bill from them showing that my insurance had only covered about ¹⁄₃ of the charge for the xrays and cleanings. I went back to their office and complained about this, and the bookkeeper informed me that she only said the services were covered, not how much they were covered. I asked to speak to the dentist, Dr. Froerer, but he was out. The bookkeeper told me that the dentist would call me to work out the issue. He never called.
I have found the staff here to be dishonest. Find a different dentist.

I have gone to the Hallsted practice for years, my whole family actually goes and we love this office. The staff are very kind, knowledgable and friendly. I absolutely ADORE Dr. Froerer and am so happy he joined the practice a few years ago. Janice is my all time favorite hygenist, she is a total doll. Enjoy!

Ok, this review is actually for Dr. Froerer, who is in the same office as Dr. Hallsted, but I see him.
So a few Unilocal reviews ago I reviewed my last dentist who was absolutely horrible. Well fast forward a year and a half later and I am spazzing out because I have yet to find a dentist and I am getting paranoid about my teeth. I mentioned it to a friend of mine a couple of times and I think he got fed up with me bitching about it because the next thing out of his mouth was, «Why don’t you just try mine? I have been going to them since I was a kid.» Well considering he has pretty good teeth (I know how much sugar he really eats), I figured why not. So I called and made an appointment.
Flash forward to appointment day. They took me in immediately and everyone was nice and friendly. It reminded me a lot of my old dentist’s office I went to I was a kid, which put me at ease. I explained the situation to both my hygienist and Dr. Froerer, and they were as shocked as I was (I knew I should have reported her to the dental board). And they did the full blown deal, X-​rays, inspection, cleaning. Very meticulous. In the end NO CAVITIES (Vindication!).
Went back in for a check up a few weeks ago and still no cavities! They did say I need a night guard, but honestly, I believe them. I have actually noticed since they mentioned it that I do have the tendency to have a tense jaw. All in all, I am glad my friend recommended this dental office.
