I came to Joanne for my eyelash extensions and I am quite pleased. Been getting a lot of compliments, and almost 3 weeks have passed and they are still there! Can’t wait for my fill in a few days.

This was the first time I’ve ever gotten eyelash extensions and I’ve found the perfect place. I came across Home on Unilocal and was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. It’s a small shop that also does mani/pedi’s and haircuts by appointment as well. Joanne is the name of the eyelash tech and I gotta say that she did a great job. The facility was clean and easy to find. Street parking is available earlier in the day. Joanna helped pick the right lashes that suited me and the look I wanted to achieve. Each last has it’s own extension– none are stuck together. Can’t wait to go back in 3 weeks for my refills!

Joanne is awesome! I never had lash extensions and really wanted to try it before we went on vacation. I was pleasantly surprised on how beautiful they looked. She did a great job on knowing what looked right on me, she was fast and also got me in on her day off which was very accommodating. Joanne is very talented and it shows in her work.
The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because of how expensive it was. I had asked friends who have had this done (at different places) so I had an idea of the price range. The initial cost was a lot more than I had expected– I know I should have asked when I made the appointment but I did not expect it to be so expensive. Although the lash extensions have made getting ready in the morning a breeze and I love the way I look without make-​up, this will have to be more of a treat when I have an event or a vacation coming up.
Overall if you are looking for lash extensions, Joanne is the one! She does an amazing job, I can’t say enough about how wonderful she is!

I’ve never worn fake eyelashes nor have I ever had eyelash extensions done on me because naturally I have long lashes. I decided that I wanted to give it a try because I was heading out on vacation for two weeks and I absolutely did not want to wear makeup and wake up every morning to apply mascara. I searched around on Unilocal and read so many great reviews about Home salon and Joanne and let me tell you it is all true! Joanne was wonderful and gave me the results I really wanted. Long, voluminous, and dark! My eyelash extensions have been on for 2 weeks now and survived the humidity of Rome, Italy. Only about 3 pieces of eyelash extensions fell off and it does not even show. The glue is amazing and strong just make sure you don’t rub your eyes hard, use oils on your lashes, or apply mascara on the extensions. Also, if you’ve heard about extensions pulling off your natural eyelashes, its not true at all. Your lashes have a natural cycle of falling off every week or 2 so do not worry.
I am definitely going back for refills when the time comes.

Joanne is THE best at eyelashes. Couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten compliments on my eyelashes and I have to break the news that they’re not real! Hahaha. People are shocked!

Joanne is amazing for eyelash extensions. She is quick and my eyelashes always look amazing, plus they last long. Her salon is super cute and she is very welcoming. I’ve been going to her for a year now and can’t recommend enough!

I’ve been going to Joanne for years for eyebrow tattooing, even when she was in South San Francisco before she moved to Burlingame. My sister also goes to Joanne for her sparse eyebrows too.
Joanne has ALWAYS done a fantastic job on my eyebrows. Unfortunately, I completely lost my eyebrow hair years ago from over-​plucking as a teen. I’ve always been really self-​conscious about my eyebrows having no hair, but Joanne has always made them look at natural as possible.
I went in today for a touch-​up, and WOW, Joanne has a new trendy (hair stroke) technic that makes it look like you have hair!!! It’s no longer just a solid tattoo. I’m amazed, once again, at her work! Shes very meticulous, and I love that about her because they look fantastic! But this time, it looks like I have eyebrow hair! I haven’t seen that in years! LOL!
I will continue to go to Joanne FOREVER as long as I need my eyebrows done… :)
She always takes care of her clients wants and needs. I highly recommend her! You won’t be disappointed.

Got my eyelashes done today and they’re beautiful!!! So pleased with the results, Joanne did a killer job. Would recommend to anyone who wants to look glamorous without makeup. Definitely making this a regular beauty regiment

I just got a full set of lashes done at Home salon and cannot emphasize how happy I am with how it turned out. I called this place to ask about their lash extension service and found out that they are currently promoting a full lash set special for only $ 125 (originally $ 175) by Shirley, a «junior» lash extension specialist.
I was at first hesitant, but ultimately decided that I could not turn down this offer. Shirley was extremely professional and made my experience comfortable (I even feel asleep for a portion of it!). I was extremely surprised at the results and honestly wouldn’t even consider Shirley a «junior» analyst given the great turnout. I’ve had my lashes done elsewhere, but Shirley has done a far better job than any other salon I’ve been to. I’m definitely coming back and hope to capture this deal again while it lasts!

I get so many compliments on my eyes lashes! Joanne does a perfect job finding the right length for your lashes. And making sure you know how to keep them clean. I’ve done about 4 – 5 refills and even when I need a refill people tell me how great they look. Prices are reasonable for the amazing quality.

I highly recommend Joanne at Home Salon for eyelash extensions! I got them for my first time a couple weeks ago and I love them so much! They make getting ready much quicker and they are extremely comfortable. I’ve already sent many people her way and they are also happy with how their lashes came out!

I highly recommend Joanne! I tried two other spots before trying Joanne and there is no comparison! Joanne is hands down the best! Not only is she fast, but she’s meticulous and knows exactly what you need to look natural and beautiful.
Due to thyroid issues, most of my lashes fell out and the ones that grew back were weak. Joanne took that into consideration and made sure she used the extensions that wouldn’t harm my natural lashes. Despite the lack of my own lashes, Joanne was able to make me look like I have a full set of lashes.
Like the other reviewers, I’m now hooked! Try Joanne and you won’t regret it!

What an amazing experience!
Off the bat, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Even though you generally have to schedule very far in advance, I called Saturday morning and she took me Saturday evening.
This was my first time getting my eyelashes done, and I’m so pleased. It didn’t take too long, and the end results were stunning. It’s like I’m a whole new person. My lashes are longer, fuller, softer, and look overall just. Better!

I have been to a few different places before but no one is as amazing as Joanne! She is very fast and precise. I get compliments all the time :) I tried the volume lashes this time and they are my favorite! I’m officially addicted — definitely worth the extra money. I am notorious for making last minute appointments. My schedule is pretty busy so it is very difficult to schedule things in advanced. I just started doing eyelash extensions 3 months ago and I always «liked» them but I was never in «love» with them
… Until I met Joanne.
I had a really busy work week and I was leaving town the next day and I needed my eyelashes done. My regular girl was on vacation and I was calling around all day to find someone. Everyone was booked, which was to be expected, or was ridiculously expensive, which I wasn’t having and just when I had given up… I got a response from Joanne. She accommodated me last minute. She was gentle, sweet and quick even though I have major issues with twitching eyelids. When I opened my eyes… Ksjcjekdjwkxjekd THEY LOOKED AMAZING.
I paid a little more than I normally do but it worth it. Joanne is just down the street from my work so now she’s worth it AND convenient! Love love LOVE her!

OMG, just left my first lash appointment at Joanne’s Salon, HOME. This was amazing! I have been in search for an awesome lash place after moving from Dallas and finally, it’s taken 2 years but I have found my new salon! I came in wanting to get the volume lashes to test for my upcoming wedding and I couldn’t be happier. I am addicted and can’t wait to come back in 3 weeks for a fill :-D = happy me!
It’s worth every second and dollar, plus you can eat Shabu Shabu or Prime Rib afterward!
I would recommend Joanne and her services to everyone.

Update: this is a true statement and honest update review. One star added that I called the stylist and told him about the situation and he called me to go in and dye the whole head in a darker color. Problem was fixed and he didn’t charge for the service. I insisted and left a $ 20 tip as a thank you. Appreciate he took care of the problem right away! That’s what the additional star is for. This was a few months ago by the way.
I understand you got upset to get a 2 star review but I didn’t lie or make up a single sentence I said. I’m giving you a better rating just because I understand how this can effect a small business. One should be opened to customers feedback (positive and negative) so you can keep improving and provide better services. But I think they probably think they are the best and will never do anything wrong. Wish you could have solved the issue in a more professional and polite way today.
