I don’t know what the deal is with this place. I made an online appointment more than one week ahead of schedule. The message online that it needs confirmation by staff, so okay I awaited some kind of confirmation. Nothing. The day before my appointment I called, there was only a voicemail after one ring, and I left one figuring it was late in the afternoon. The next day there were no return calls so I tried calling again and still only a voicemail after one ring. I decided to make the drive after work down there from San Francisco anyway, and what a waste! There was only a sign on the door saying if you need to contact somebody call this number. I noted the number, but I’m going to attempt to get a refund on my voucher from Lifebooker(the site I purchased the deal from) instead.

I would say I loved the massage given by Michele. Although I still prefer a women masseuse for sure, he did a very professional and relaxing massage.

I cannot comment on the actual services, but I am rating them on their customer service, or lack of. I called and attempted to redeem my groupon for a massage but a week later had not received a call back. I called them and left a voice mail and they were very apologetic scheduling me an appointment for today 2−17−12 at 11:00. I arrive and brought my mom just in case they had an open appointment for her. There is no receptionist and two people filling out forms. We wait there and finally someone comes out to ‘assist’ us. She says the therapist is running late and hands us forms to fill out. The two other people are taken in and the lady comes back out saying she will start with the one customer and figure us out in a little bit. 33 minutes later and we are still waiting. Did I forget to mention that today is my birthday so I have a birthday lunch with my family I have to get to so I cannot wait for this long. We left a note and left. There was a reason I scheduled an appointment. I will be contacting groupon for a refund but would not recommend this place based on their lack of customer service.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I only tried it because I used a Groupon that I thought was a good deal, but it wasn’t even worth the discounted price. This place is not even close to what I expected for being in the middle of Burlingame Avenue. I requested a female and got a male instead, which I didn’t find out until I was on the table. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the massage was good, but unfortunately it wasn’t. It was actually the worst one I’d ever had. Also the room I was in was right next to the reception area so it was noisy. I also got a facial which was given by the same guy and when it was done I couldn’t wait to get home to wash my face. My face felt dirty and there were clumps of whatever they used all over my face. I’m so glad I didn’t pay full price. The quality of service they provide is definitely not worth the prices they charge. I will be sticking with the iSpa from now on! There’s even a place in South San Francisco that blows this place out of the water. The only plus for this place is that the staff is really nice. I think this place is fairly new so hopefully they will make much needed improvements, but like I said I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone… there’s no deal out there that is worth it for this place.
