This review is long over due (we had a baby right after getting married). This review is for Yumi the florist. She did our wedding back in October of 2012. My husband and I called and made an appt. to see Yumi to discuss what we wanted for our wedding along with our targeted budget. Right from the start, Yumi had a warm and welcoming personality about her. She made us feel like she truly loved what she was doing while staying professional.
We explained to Yumi the colors and type of flowers we wanted for our wedding and brought along a few pictures of the arrangements we liked. Story of my life (I always end up choosing the most expensive things naturally), our budget could not accommodate the type of flowers I (bride) wanted and it wasn’t in season. I don’t know much about flowers and I solely chose the flowers and arrangements based on the way it looked. At this point I was starting to feel hopeless. BUT Yumi came to the rescue and suggested an affordable type of flowers that gave the same look and feel. It turned out great! The colors were right on with what we expected and our guest were fighting over who gets to take them home. Yumi did the flowers for the church which we were able to reuse for the head table at the reception. She also did the centerpieces, my bouquet, bridesmaids/​maid of honor, flower girl, and parents. She was even able to provide the flowers for my hair. They all turned our soo pretty!
We definitely recommend Yumi for any flower needs anyone might have!!!

This place is the best! We needed to get an arrangement put together for a funeral service and she knew exactly how it should be done when we mentioned the location of the church. The family that received the flowers were delighted and expressed repeatedly how beautiful the arrangement was. It really brought a smile to our faces despite the circumstances.

I knew that head pieces were being designed for the girls in my daughter’s graduating class, but I was not prepared for the beauty of the final product. I want to be clever and say that the floral «crowns were majestic,» but it would not speak to the simple ornateness or the sumptuousness of the flowers and color combination. The girls’ head pieces, together with the boys’ matching leis, added grace to the ceremonies. Thank you, Yumi.

i am writ ting about this studio and the owner Yumi i use to go to the shop the parents had in San Francisco and let me say the work that she puts out is top notch she takes the time to listen to what you have to say it is not all about the money with her i have spent $ 20 at one time and i have spent way more then this and she still does a job that can not be bet i will keep going to Yumi for all my flower needs and if you want someone that will take good care of you then look no further you will feel like a family member
