I’ve been going to Monique for months now and I’ve never had one bad manicure! I always get gel and it last for weeks! Monique will always find time to fit me in and will always do what I want! She’s honestly the best I’ve been too in Burlingame !

This is the nail salon in every girl’s dream! Monique is sort of this «secret» in Burlingame. Everyone knows about her, but everyone’s afraid to talk because people will start flooding the appointment books.
I’ve been seeing Monique for over 15 years. I haven’t even stayed with a hairdresser longer than 2 years! Maybe I’m insecure and just a sucker for people complimenting my nails (seriously. it happens a few times a week), but Monique is really the best.
I started off with acrylic, but over the years have changed to silk. Silk nails are truly an art — and she’s mastered this art. Silk is thinner, and it feels SO much more like a natural nail. It just looks better for some reason — not this weird fake nail thing. I know a lot of her clients do shellac and acrylic, but do yourself a favor and try the silk.
Her room is like this little private spa within itself — candles, the latest magazines, it just feels all warm and fuzzy. Spa pedicures are awesome. A super nice spa chair, and the BEST products, ever.
What I love is that my nails look the same every time. Consistent quality. It’s hard to find, people!
Her prices are ridiculously reasonable, given the consistent quality and über-​cool atmosphere! Is it bargain nail place? No. But you get what you pay for.
Plus her studio is super, super clean! None of that «eh. I’m not sure about this place»
Monique is sincerely the nicest person you’ll ever meet, and has somehow mastered the art of hospitality — the perfect manicurist… chatty when you need to chat, quiet if you just want to have some «me» time.

I have been a client of Monique’s for years and would never think of going elsewhere! Her pedicures are so relaxing, with an extended massage. I have silk wraps, which last for three weeks, and I am always receiving compliments.
Her private room is an oasis“away from it all”!
I highly recommend Monique! Even my granddaughters love their princess manicures!

I got a gift certificate to try Monique, I live in Daly City but work out in Burlingame and have never found any place out in Burlingame to get my nails done. I decided to give Monique a try, I called Monday for an appointment on Wednesday. First of all, I was very shocked to see how big the salon is that Monique works in. Second, her area of the salon is a nice little closed off area that has one spa chair for pedicures and her station, she was playing light music in the background, as well. She was very professional and even told me the difference between Gellac and Shellac (two very different things) I am very picky about my nails; color, cut, shape, etc. and Monique was not only very nice to talk to, she took care of my hands and listened to what color I wanted. Some manicurists hand you a color wheel or some heavy frame with colors, she knew exactly what I wanted. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but you pay for what you receive and the service you get. Monique is worth every penny! She’s only by appointment so snag them while you can!

I have been going to Monique for almost 20 years. She is the absolute best for nails and pedicures. She’s very reasonably priced — quick — and is a joy to be around. A plus personality and outstanding work. I give her my highest recommendation.
