ROXBURY CROSSING, MA
Stopped in my first night in Burlingame, left after a hurried pint. This bar caters to an older crowd of regulars, and a dicey demographic in stark contrast to the rest of Burlingame. It really reminded me of a smaller Paddy’s Pub from Its Always Sunny.
There was a very drunk guy in a track suite outside talking to an old lady in a halter top, inside wasn’t much better. Not the bar for me.

Amazing bartenders! So fun and local. Sunday night bartenders are the best. I especially like Jackie! She will make a great drink for you, which is exactly what you need on a sunday night! !

Great service, friendly patrons, excellent Guinness. The bartender is really friendly but not overly chatty. Her name is Jackie… Really sweet. Overall perfect for what we were looking for. Good Irish pub!

I was at this place for half of the NFL season last year. What I love about this place is that you don’t get that feeling when you go to other dive bars where it’s dirty, dark, untidy, spit and sawdustish. It’s clean, community friendly, mom & pops, cozy feeling that I get instead. Beers are very reasonable priced and best of all, free hotdogs on NFL Sundays. I’m not sure about this year though which i haven’t been there yet. All in all, 4 stars.

Bartender did a cardinal sin and practically announced my age in front of everyone in the bar when he saw my ID. but he acted very sorry and regretful about it, it was hilarious. Guiness was served well, and everyone was nice (and cute) in the pub. Warm safe atmosphere in this quintessential Irish pub ;)

This is usually a wonderful dive bar in the midst of Burlingame suburbia. But tonight… tonight was awful.
An obviously belligerent patron berated me for being «too loud» (hello, it’s a bar? the music from the juke box was BLASTING well above my audio level.) She stared at me the entire night and shared disparaging comments to the bartender. She continued to taunt me the entire night. I would not let this affect my opinion of the bar, except that the bartender on duty did nothing to quell this behavior. In fact, the woman at the bar continued to badger me, and the bartender even joined in. Keep in mind that I was enjoying a quiet, calm evening with two friends in the corner of the bar. I was harming no one, bothering no one. I came here to quietly enjoy my night and it was absolutely ruined by this obnoxiously drunk patron and the bartender who defended her for no apparent reason.

Great dive bar! Cheep drinks and very friendly staff. Not a place to meet women but if you are looking to relax with some friends and watch some sports this is the place. It is also a very short walk to Burlingame avenue where you can grab some food.

As a local pub goes… this is the example other bars should model them selves after. the bartender remembers your name and drinks are served fast and cheap. the inside is a community of drinking and pleasantries. I will be back often

This has been my spot to watch the 2014 mlb playoffs. Great crowd, good drinks great staff. The few times I went heather was great!!! Go Giants!!! Cool place to hang out and friendly crowd

Nice friendly bar in Burlingame without having to feel looked down upon. Bartenders are friendly and people are nice. I enjoyed the music they were playing and they even have a jukebox, too. It’s such a shame they don’t serve food/​snacks. Because I would definitely make this my new chill spot. This place deserves to be heard of more, but it’s probably being masked by all the other «fancier» bars around which service isn’t so great.
Drinks are reasonably priced here. One of Burlingame’s finest, I’d dare say.

The only bar worth going to in Burligame… my friends and I always do the rounds downtown and end up back at Paddys. All the bar tenders and regulars are nice and actually talk to you. The drinks are cheap, the jukebox is always playing. Go see Kay on Tuesday nights… she’s an awesome bartender.

very small bar but also good. They have shock top, widmer, stella and many more beers on draft. Not very many tables to sit but it is a cute little place to come after work on a nice day and grab a beer to relax.
There are plenty of TV’s in this bar so you can come watch a game and drink beer or anything else you’d like or if you want to come listen to some old good songs then there is a jukebox waiting there for you as well but keep in mind, it is kinda slow to start that thing.

Dive bar ambience (check), interesting patrons (check), Guinness, Harp, Bass and Smithwick’s on draft (check), Jameson (check), Irish sounding bartender (check), soccer/​football paraphernalia around the place (check). Bottom line, good lil Irish bar for an any time pint.
