Luckily I haven’t been sick enough yet to find out how competent of a clinician he is.

Having been repeatedly failed by the quality of care given by «medical professionals» over the past 20 years I was skeptical when my girlfriend recommended One Medical for my annual check-​up and was preparing myself for yet another disappointment.
Within minutes I was greeted by Dr. Paul Lindenfeld with a handshake, a look in the eye and a smile (both rare in the business in my experience). In the examination room, Dr Lindenfeld actively listened to my over 20 minutes of medical concerns and history (only occasionally making notes) without interruption. The irony being that just the night before I had read a study providing extensive criticism about the current state of the health care system. Some key points included that the average lag time until securing an actual appointment was 21 days. The average length of time waiting in the office was just under 2 hours. The average time actually spent with the physician being only 8 minutes… during which he/​she will interrupt the patient every 12 seconds. This couldn’t be further from the truth with Dr Lindenfeld. He spent nearly an hour with me, never interrupted me or «spoke down» to me and insured all my concerns were addressed. Within 5 minutes I was confident that I was in the best hands and had found a new practice for years to come.

Dr. Lindenfeld is very smart and caring. He is as good as a doctor as you can ask for.
