Came here last weekend with a group of guys from my church for a weekend retreat. The camp was undergoing some serious overhauling to get ready for the main camp season but I was impressed with the grounds and surrounding area. Don’t get me wrong this isn’t a spa resport or anything but when a place has the word«camp» in it you need to adjust your expectations accordingly. This means you should expect large cabins with bunk beds etc. If you expect different that is on you. The camp itself is huge and can host a large amount of people. We had 60+ people up here and didn’t take even half of the cabin space. Most of the cabins could hold 16 easily if not more. Not sure if all the cabins are this size or larger. The lake that is there is beautiful and very peaceful. Lots of different toys to play with including a large slide and water trampoline. There were multiple places to build a fire at night. There were an abundance of basketball courts, a soccer field and a base ball field and several pools in addition to the lake. The lake appeared to be spring fed and because it was on the small side the water was very nice. If you are looking for a great camp to get away to I would recommend this place for sure. I hope our group goes back here next year.
