My wife and I frequently went out for Shabu Shabu when we lived in Boston so we were excited to see this place open. Sadly, the Shabu Shabu was awful. The beef was cut way too think and were some of the grizzliest cuts I’ve ever been served in a restaurant. My first bite was met with a solid crunch.

Over priced, Sushi isn’t fresh. If you are looking for Japanese food this is not the place to be. Their Japanese are written incorrectly. Sushi on the belt was minimum $ 5/plate. Do not waste your money.

I went here for lunch today and really liked the space and the concept and want to come back and sample some more things from the menu. I did not like being open to the mall visitors and having everyone walk by and look at what you are eating. That was distracting. I have never eaten at the conveyor belt restaurant although I hear they are very popular in Japan. It was an interesting concept except I found the belt a bit to high so I could not really see some of the dishes as they traveled around. Beautiful interior for the restaurant. Some of the food on the conveyor belt did not have a top which made it unappetizing to me so i didn’t choose any of those items. I found the waitstaff very unhelpful and in need of major training. The food all tasted very good and we did enjoy the dishes we ordered from the menu. We had beef tongue, octopus and beef hearts and pork belly grilled on sticks. They were delicious and well presented. We had some cold noodles with pesto and some of the cabbage and then some Sushi. I had to ask for wasabi and ginger. The dishes that traveled around and around and around did not seem to change all that much. Needs more variety. When you are ready for the bill everything is tallied up according to the color of the plates chosen and then your card is run through an iPad at the able. Service has gone up to a minimum of 18% which surprised me. You have an option to change it but that seemed forward to me as the customer. A tad expensive for lunch but I will go back and try it again.

Came here with my wife, 6-month old and two good friends. The staff was friendly, but food took way too long. The sushi chef was not able to put food on the conveyer belt at a decent pace to keep multiple options coming by. Overpriced for what you get, but the food is good. You can also order from the menu. The Roti Canai is good. The sauces are good, but the food is in very small portions for the price you pay. And expect to wait a LONG time for any food you order. My wife and I left still hungry. At least they are able to process your credit card payment at your table immediately using a tablet. The highlight of the night was time with our friends.

A Cuisine’s conveyer belt sushi/Asian fusion is on the right track! On the heels of my trip to Japan, I was thrilled to find out the new kaiten sushi(revolving conveyer belt sushi) restaurant had opened. What a unique dining experience! Having only been open for two days, the staff and kitchen seemed to be working through some initial kinks but over all a good experience! First, it took us a while to get seated and the entrances to the restaurant were a little confusing at first. There are two ways to get in, outside from church street and then in through the mall front entrance. Be warned, the restaurant is located IN the mall and is totally open adjacent to the entrance. For prime people watching, sit facing out into the mall. The kaiten sushi: sparse at first but picked up. This was definitely a fusion restaurant so if you’ve been to a traditional style, this is much different. You can order food two ways: through the waiter or take directly off the conveyer belt that end past all the tables. You pay by the color of the plate you take off the belt so make sure to hold on to the dishes! The sushi selection itself was a little small this time around so I’m hoping that with time they will get more variety. Kitchen items: Since the sushi was taking a bit to make its way around the block, we opted for several kitchen items and were very pleased! Try out the BBQ skewers(yakitori was awesome) and the Karaage(fried chicken). Drinks: Also, at this point, no alcohol – they are working on getting their license. Tip: order from the kitchen to balance you meal. Pay by the plate as it comes around is convenient but can add up quickly! For just its second day, A Cuisine seemed to be on the right track. Excited to go back and try more!
