Applebee’s

The worst Applebee’s around. Service isn’t that great, the manager was a total jerk as well. I’ve been here more than a few times and finally felt it was time to write a review. They half ass EVERY SINGLE ORDER. The whole meal has been wrong more than once, and we’ve had to send it back more than once! FYI managers– your crappy service/​food isn’t pardoned by you taking it off my bill.. !

Late lunch 11/01…Ordered spinach artichoke dip/​chicken strips and fries/​sweet asian chile boneless wing and fries/​New Brunch burger and fries/​Mango and Strawberry Frozen Lemonades… Spinach dip was… ok…wasn’t great, Chips were disgusting, way too much salt, like they must have literally spilt a whole bottle of salt on it. Chicken and fries were ok… never got fries with the boneless wings… asked twice… Brunch Burger barely cooked… pink asked for well done… way undercooked… Mango/​Strawberry Lemonade tasted like just Lemonade which would have been fine if I ordered just a frozen lemonade… Overall terrible experience and only one meal was ok… the boneless wings were chewy… just not a great experience… waitress was apoligetic but not very attentive… Manager came and took off the meal that I did not touch, 4.00 off for appetizer, and did not take off fries we never even got… Did not go out of his way to remedy the bad experience… Spent 37.12 and only one meal was even tolerable. I seen that the marquis outside says, «Now hiring Cooks,» …Indeed they do need some real cooks… especially for the prices they are charging for very subpar food we received this afternoon… we live local, and this isn’t first time visiting this venue, but it will be the last… paid bill, left, and then went somewhere else to eat…

When you order the Wonton Tacos be sure to ask for the cilantro even tho it states on the menu that it comes with it. Be careful with the «free food» that they bring when you ask for a different entrée because the cook doesn’t know what he or she is doing! Ever seen the movie Waiting? This is possibly the place that started it! Good but this place needs an attitude adjustment and «QUALITY» put into it.

We had a great experience at the Applebees in West Burlington, Iowa. Great food, prices, and service.

The food isn’t prepared very well, but I don’t expect it to be anymore. They have an EXCELLENT wait staff, and delicious margaritas. Those are the only two reasons I go back.

This place is busy and I can’t figure out why. Its not that anything is terrible, its just not good. Food is spendy for the size and quality. The flavors don’t wow me and the drink price is outrageous for what you get. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Food and service were fine. We had the 2 for $ 20 dinner with mozzarella sticks as the appetizer and the 7 oz. House sirloin, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Great meal for the money. Pleasant atmosphere. Standard Applebee’s.

We had lunch. They had all-​you-​can-​eat soup and salad which were very reasonably priced. I had spinach saland and creamy potaoto salad. They were very good and I had the seconds. It is good idea to ask for dressing on side, mine had too much dressing. My waiter was rather slow for refills, seconds, and bill. Do I go back? Yes.
