Came in on New Year’s Day /my dads birthday with my whole family and had a terrible experience, First the drinks came out in dirty glasses my mom has a low immune system so we returned the first drinks, second round also came out dirty, the manager took those back and washed and shined the cups, then the food came I asked for my steak medium came out more well done, mashed potatoes were okay just cold, when my new steak out it was very dry :( My sister had a burger she asked for medium well it also came out more well done she has braces so it was tough for her to bite into, my waitress wasn’t really attentive, almost seem like a bother when asking for something or requesting her. I told the host it was my dads birthday I had to ask my waitress to bring a birthday desert out, was suppose to a surprise. Plus side the restaurant was pretty empty.

One of the worst dining experience in a while. The fish tacos tasted like the fish had been rubbed in dirt. The mahi mahi was decent, truffle mac and cheese was very good, but overall a let down. While the wine was very good, my wine glass had left over sugar crust at the bottom of the glass from the previous drink. Feels like this restaurant has gotten sloppy and is only relying on its name. They need to try harder. We will not be back.

Being fans of one of Bonefish’s «sister» restaurants, Carrabba’s, we decided to visit on Saturday evening a bit after 5 pm. Upon arrival at the hostess station, there were three young people working. One looking displeased by the seating chart system, we told her there were 3 in our party and she handed menus to a young man and said«I’ll be right back» to him. We all waited and the young man started small talk with us. When she returned with another man who looked to be a supervisor, they both looked at the screen and he mumbled something to her, then she directed the young man to seat us. First impression … not such a friendly hostess and if there’s a technical problem, she should have pleasantly smiled at us and told us that she’d be right back, not the young man who was left standing there holding menus looking awkward. The third young lady pretty much kept her head down appearing to be busy. Once seated, our waiter came over fairly quickly to take drink orders and reviewed the menu«particulars» with us since this was our first visit ever to a Bonefish. He recommended the Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer so we decided to give that a try along with the Edamame and waters for drinks. The appetizers came pretty quickly and we were VERY pleased with both. There were ample shrimp, fried in a creamy, spicy sauce over a bed of greens. We also requested bread as we noticed other tables with bread. The bread was warm and appeared to be crusty(like Carrabba’s, our favorite) but it was warm and soft. Not bad but we were hoping it was the same as Carrabba’s. For our entrees, we ordered the Kobe Burger with fries and a mixed green salad with balsamic, grilled sea bass with spinach and fries and the crab crusted Pompano fish special with green beans and cole slaw. The Kobe Burger was described as being served with a «special sauce». When hubby asked what the special sauce was, our waiter replied«it’s like a mix of ketchup, mayo with a touch of sriracha» .which didn’t make it sound very«special». Hubby said the burger was very good(4.5 stars per him) but the fries were very disappointing. Luke warm and soggy(0 stars). My friend’s sea bass(served with mango salsa) was cooked to perfection and very tender. Her fries were like hubby’s but the sauteed spinach in garlic was ample and delicious. Two generous pieces of pompano were lightly crusted with pieces of crab on top. I thought the pompano was tender but my friend who shared with me though it was tough compared to her sea bass. The cole slaw was very tasty and we enjoyed the dressing which was not a heavy mayo as with most cole slaw dressings. When the pompano was served, the green beans were missing but they did come before we finished and were lightly stir fried/sauteed in a very tasty oil based sauce. The manager stopped by several times to check in with us as did our water but neither noticed the appetizer plates still on our table all throughout our dinner and two of our three water glasses were empty about 75% into our dinner. We’re glad we tried it but probably would not go out of our way to return. Overall, 3.5 stars.

Bang Bang Shrimp!!! Like 99.99% of their patrons I love their Bang Bang Shrimp. But not only that, I love their other appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Plus, their cocktail list is fun and I find their drinks from their mules to their espresso martini always come out really well. On a recent date night, we had a great time enjoying their Bang Bang Shrimp, my husband had their surf and turf special that evening, and I tried their rainbow trout with their herby pesto sauce. I’ve had their tuna and mahi mahi before, but I really enjoyed changing it up and trying the trout this time and I really enjoyed it. It was really tender and grilled perfectly. I did find that the rice served along with it was very gummy. But, I personally didn’t mind as it just meant that skipping it made more room for dessert! Parking is fairly easy to come by in the shopping center.

We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp and highly recommend it. My wife has a Cosmopolitan and I had a sparkling wine. Primarily a seafood restaurant my wife had the filet which was done perfectly. Two sides included spaghetti squash and au gratin potato. I had the swordfish again done perfectly. My sides were the squash and broccoli florets. The bread was out of this world and served with a flavorful pesto and olive oil for dipping. We shared a Jamaican coconut pie with a rum topping. Yummy. Our server Anthony was very helpful with the menu and did his job flawlessly.

So I had the salmon(wood grilled). It came out and half way into it, i found it was under cooked. I alerted the server who said she would bring it back. It came back to me and the entire plate was scalding. The piece of salmon was bone dry. To me, that signals microwave. I told the server and she said she consulted with the chef who said they dont use microwaves. I told her to take it back. She asked if i wanted anything else and my reply was no. The bill came and it was still on there. I told her how do you expect me to pay when half was one eaten. She sarcastically told me she would take ½ off. Can you say $.01 tip… I sure can.

This is my second time going to a Bonefish restaurant after saying how good it was there the first time at a different location in MD. On Veterans day Bonefish advertised online that they were giving free Bang bang shrimp for any active duty or veteran when I showed them my ID they knew nothing of it. The waitress never brought water and had to ask for bread also there was no mentioned anything about specials. The lobster roll was inedible having to much salt and seasonings the Fish tacos were mediocre and bland much different from my first experience. Then my date and I were never once asked if we would like another drink or how the food was or even if we wanted dessert the check was simply placed on the table. I’m not one to complain about food especially having to eat less then average food for months at a time on deployments. This is not to say all bonefish locations are bad.

Decent meal, not out of this world but good. I had the cilantro lime salad with shrimp and it was tasty, the shrimp was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was great. The salad itself was a little bland but I liked the roasted corn and beans mix. The service was average at best and the ambiance of the restaurant itself is nothing special. I would return but only for a company paid lunch which is what it was on this visit. :)

Food was delicious & flavorful except the service was extremely poor. We strolled in an hour before they closed and as soon as you walked in the atmosphere was off, you could tell everyone was waiting for the clock to strike 10 so they could go home. I mean it was a Tuesday night after all. Our waitress wasn’t so friendly, she also forgot to bring us utensils, water & bread. I mean the table next to us had everything brought out to them as soon as they sat down(mind you we were seated before them). All in all, I wish I could give this place 5 stars but the service just ruined it for us. If I were to go back, I’d much rather try a different location.

Food was excellent. Oysters were delicious. Potstickers were juicy and flavorful and not overly seasoned. Steak and crab cake duo melts in your mouth. Chowder was tasty and chocolate brownie was delish! I’ll def come back.

I made a reservation here for a party of 11 people for 7:30pm. We arrived early around 7pm and added 2 extra people to the reservation to make it a party of 13. At 8:30 we still had not been seated. They stated it could be another 45 minutes. They blamed it on us adding 2 people. I understand this may extend the wait but it shouldnt take that long to add another table. They could have squeezed us in and just added 2 chairs and add an additional table when it became available. They have terrible customer service. They were very unapologetic. In the end at 8:45 we left and went somewhere else for dinner because this restaurant could not accommodate us even with a reservation.

A review from a non seafood guy. Some people are surf kinda guys, but you can call me Mr. Turf. — Very nice atmosphere. Great place to impress a date. — Great service. One of the workers walked around offering shrimp to the waiting customers. I nabbed a piece of lettuce instead. — I ordered a kobe beef burger. It was bland. No flavor, no juice. I was left unsatisfied. I give it three stars because what can I expect from a seafood restaurant?

I have been to this restaurant twice and really wanted to like it. I like eating fish and seafood so was excited to find another restaurant specialized in such food. But I don’t think I will go there again on my own will. Here are the things that shaped my opinion: Pros: — nice atmosphere, not very loud. — decent selection of fish to try. — sangria — both white and red were very good. — lobster roll Cons: — finding a parking spot may take some time. — I haven’t tried all menu, but appetizers were very fatty(tried mussels and bang-bang shrimp) — first time all main dishes were of weird gray color(my Chilean sea bus, and shrimp and scallops that my wife had), the taste wasn’t bad. — second time I had pasta with arctic char. The fish was over dried. Also there was a strange piece of chicken in pasta that was supposed to have only vegetables. The stem hasn’t been removed from one of the pea sprouts. — watered down cognac. This was the last drop. Cognac is meant to be drank warm — this way it releases it’s aroma and tastes better. According to the check it was poured over rocks, but there was no ice in the glass, just cool watered down cognac. Good thing that waitress replaced the drink upon complaint. Summing up, in my opinion if you are ready to spend $ 100+ for good dinner for two, look elsewhere.

I had heard good things about this restaurant, but it was from someone who happens to be a family member of one of the hostesses. I looked at the menu online, thought it looked good, so I chose it for my birthday dinner with my family. I made a reservation for a Saturday night at 7 about a week in advance. When we arrived, after being cut off at the hostess stand by not one but two people(albeit not the restaurant’s fault) we were told there’s a 15 minute grace period on the reservations. We were given a pager and headed to the bar. No big deal. The restaurant was very crowded, yet there was only one bartender working. This was the start to a lot of slow service throughout the night. Our pager went off and we were sent to a second host stance, where a young man point to our table… a high top at the bar. I asked for a table in the dining room, it was a special night and I had made a reservation after all. He gladly accommodated us to a 4-top in the dining room, despite 3 empty booths. We then waited 10 minutes… nothing. We grabbed the manager who was very nice and asked us if she could take an appetizer order. She put that in and soon after a very unenthusiastic waitress came over and almost inaudibly apologized and then the meal went on. Extremely slow, had to ask twice for our waters to be refilled, two of the same drinks tasting significantly different, you catch my drift. Now I would give this place one star, after all they essentially gave me a bad night on my birthday! BUT all of our food was phenomenal. It would be 5 stars with even decent service. I understand being a server is not easy, but that doesn’t mean you should gossip about your tables on not one, but two occasions… and that’s when we could see and hear it. Yes. That happened. So despite the delicious food, I’m sorry to say I will not be returning to Bonefish Grill.

Decided to go here with my boyfriend for our anniversary because we were given a gift card from some relatives who swear by this restaurant. We don’t live too far so the drive there wasn’t so bad and it’s in a big shopping plaza with lots of other shops to keep you occupied if you happen to go when it’s busy and end up waiting for a table like we did(bad planning on our part, whoops!) Despite it being busy, we were greeted quickly by a friendly staff who gave us a buzzer and we were seated within 20 minutes. We were given the run down of the specials by our sweet and very informed server, and decided to try the ‘Bang Bang Shrimp’. It’s easily a new favorite, and something my boyfriend describes as «something anybody with a soul would enjoy». For our drinks we went with the Blackberry Sangria, so delicious! Refreshing and sweet but not overly sweet. When it came down to entrees we chose two different dishes, we always end up eating off each other’s plates anyway. I went with The Anglers 6oz medium sirloin with garlic whipped potatoes and broccoli… if I were ever placed in a position to choose my last meal, just know it would be this. Hands down. He went with the Boneless Fontina Pork Chop with prosciutto and cheese, out of this world! For dessert we finished up with a classic crème brûlée, and it was the perfect finish. The atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant, and they do have a bar side with a couple tv’s for a more casual experience. All in all we will most definitely be returning for more of their mouth watering signature dishes.

Seafood chain restaurants scare me. Seafood can be one of the most difficult things to do well consistently. Quality of the fish is even more important. Bonefish grille did everything well and we were happy with our visit there. We played it safe and stuck mostly to their apps which sounded like can’t miss dishes and they were very good. The famous bang bang shrimp had a light batter and a nice spicy mayo. The Ahi Tuna street tacos had nice rare tuna which was sushi grade and great flavors. We also had the mussels with a white wine sauce and they were really good(can you screw up mussels and white wine?). The fish and chips had very good fish but the fries were horrible. First impressions were good and I’m interested in trying more entrees on a return visit. The service was very good, being extremely attentive to details. You’re better off coming here than NYAJ’s next door.
