Cedarock Park

Beautiful park! Loved reading about the farm house and accompanying buildings. We took the near 4 mile trail and it was gorgeous! Absolutely worth the drive from Cary.
We saw that they also have a playground for the little ones or any adventurous big ones lol. Wide open fields to do what you want with I suppose. We saw a couple throwing a frisbee. They also had a frisbee golf course. And plenty of trails! Even some for the equestrian bunch. And a body of water for fishing.
Parking is ample but on a beautiful Sunday like it was for us, the only reason parking was at all limited was because it seems when people park in a dirt or gravel lot they tend to need a space and a half to park, but whatever we found a spot relatively easy.

One of my favorite parks in the area. It has two full courses, one in the woods and one in the open. You can play them in a figure eight pretty easily. And if the day is nice I really suggest doing it.
This is the oldest disc golf course in North Carolina. The whole park is beautiful i think it was left to the state after a landowner left it in a will. The caveat in the will was that the land had to be kept as a park. So that’s cool. There are two parking lots and a pro shop. If you want to do the woods course go past the first two areas you want to pull over at and on to the third lot.
Every once in awhile there’ll be a hole that’s difficult to find but mostly the course is identified really well. There are benches and a great hideout on the open course at hole 6. You could sit in this tiny hideaway for awhile without realizing it!
