Flawless Face And Body

Although Flawless Face and Body is now Flawless Makeup Company, Kristina Makris is still the owner of the company and does much of its business. Her skills at makeup application are undeniably great. I used her before a photography session, and my makeup was so lovely that I began considering having her as my makeup artist for my wedding as well!
Unfortunately, this is where the good experience ended. The company was based out of a studio in Lexington, MA, when I first used it. At this time, I chatted with Kristina about the possibility of using her as my wedding day makeup artist. I needed to see what I was going to be able to budget for, etc., before I committed.
I called her a while later, after sorting out the wedding budget, to try to secure her services for the day. She informed me that although she is actually booked for that day, she had an associate who is just as talented as her; I said this would be fine, as I trusted her professional judgment.
Unfortunately, she then informed me that she would be moving from the Lexington location by the time of my wedding. The location she is moving to is another 20+ minutes away from my house, which would mean that I would not be able to fit the drive in to my already packed schedule on the morning of my wedding.
She told me that she could have her associate travel to a more convenient location for me on my wedding day. When I asked her how this would affect the price of the service ($ 150 for bridal makeup application on-​site), she told me that it would incur travel fees and other increases in the price (which would bring the total to approximately DOUBLE what I was anticipating). Additionally, she informed me that I would not even be able to have this option if I wanted makeup application for any less than FIVE people! So essentially, I was left with the choice of paying many times the expected and discussed price to get the company to do my makeup, or lose time for my other appointments (hair, etc.) that I have planned for the morning of the wedding. Not only did Kristina not offer me any sort of remedy to this shocking and unfortunate development, but did not so much as offer me an apology for the inconvenience!
In sum, do not count on Kristina Makris or Flawless Makeup Company, unless you have a signed contract in hand with all your money paid.
If only Kristina’s customer service and ability to live up to customer’s expectations were as good as her makeup abilities!

I have only had the opportunity to work with Kristina once but she was professional, talented and really fun! My model looked amazing throughout the whole photoshoot. So much so that when my model needed a makeup artist for other events she hired Kristina! She is an incredibly skilled makeup artist who obviously loves to learn and build her talent and brand. I highly recommend her!
