This place used to be great. But it has taken a turn for the worse. The food is downright nasty overlooked and just yucky. I didn’t get one thing on the buffet that was good. Sushi looked terrible, it’s up beside the grill getting heated up and going bad. Not a good place for sushi. Service was ok but the food was a disappointment. Not recommended.

Not bad of a place at all. This was my first time being here but for $ 10 and some change you can’t really beat the options that the buffet offers. The waitress that we had was very attentive and on top of things as well. I’d certainly consider the hibachi buffet again.

This place is hit or miss, but my last visit was pretty solid! The sushi lineup was great considering I went for lunch, not dinner, and pretty much every pan was well-monitored(either replaced or ruffled up to keep it from getting nasty). The crowd wasn’t bad — again, probably because I was there for lunch — and the wait staff was actually friendly and attentive, which is more than can be said for most Asian buffets. Lets talk about the food though… It was good! Great diversity of options, something t satisfy every craving, and not one in the 15ish items I tried disappointed because it looked better than it tasted. Honorable mention goes to the«Italian chicken breast»(yeah I’m not sure either, like a taco-spiced cream sauce on it), the banana pudding, and the quesadillas. My only complaint is that I love dim sum and they didn’t have any, but in all honesty dim sum wouldve been extra credit. This is the $ 9 lunch gold standard, the price compared to what you’re getting here really exceeds expectations.

Ewwww just ewwww I should have left after I saw that someone had thrown up in the restroom. The food was cold and tasted awful. The«waitstaff» had no personality and hardly spoke English. Awful experience just awful! The only good that came from this $ 55 outing is that my husband and I can tease the kids and tell them we are going there to eat again just to hear all of them scream EWWWWWW!

The buffet food is no good. Unfortunately they have a lovely policy of «$ 7/lb of food not eaten» so it’s eat the crap or pay extra for it. The service is fine. The hibachi is good. I asked for all the sauces on my hibachi, he gave me soy sause and handed me my plate. So could be better.

I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. I tried several items at this buffet, and all of them were disappointing. Everything tasted like it came from the cheap frozen food section at a discount grocery store. Nothing gave me an impression that it was even remotely close to being high quality, authentic Asian food. I was also disappointed to discover that there was no steak anywhere to be found despite the name of the restaurant.

This is in a shopping mall with an outside entrance so parking is easy. Very fast. Huge selection of food to pick from. The Hibachi cooks to order and it has a sushi bar next to it. Great value! Easy to go in and out at lunch. They will fill your drink to go as you leave. Not fine dining — but great for lunch!

This buffet is HUGE! It has a nice build-your-own hibachi plate line with lots of meats and veggies, plus the cream and ginger sauces. You might have to wait awhile for it to be cooked to order during busy times. The sushi is pretty good and there are about 10 different rolls to choose from. Then there are about 3 – 4 buffet lines of classic Chinese food(sesame chicken, lo mein, dumplings, egg drop soup, etc.). The crab rangoon here is the best I’ve ever eaten. They have a whole bar of more American food(pizza, macaroni, fries). Then they have a salad bar, fruit/jello bar, and 2 dessert lines – one just for hand-dipped ice cream which is always a good quality brand. We have always enjoyed the food here and it is by far the biggest selection I’ve ever seen at a buffet. No problems with the service either.

I wasn’t immediately repulsed by this place. Upon entering, the service and general atmosphere are what you would expect of an Asian-style buffet. Nothing great, nothing awful. Upon heading up to the buffet for a plate of food, I was less than impressed. Some dishes just had that old, crusted-over appearance. I found enough that at least looked decently edible, so I still filled a plate. I don’t have high expectations for places like this. I’m going in for cheap food, so I don’t plan on being blown away by any dish. However, I DO expect the food to be hot, and taste good in at least a basic way. Pretty much everything I sampled was terrible. The meat dishes were cold and/or had weird textures. I didn’t try the sushi. It just seemed like a bad idea at this restaurant. The hot & sour soup wasn’t bad, the waitress was sweet and refilled the drinks super-fast, and it *is* inexpensive. Those are the only reasons I’m giving two stars, but even that is a stretch for this place.

Food was okay. We won’t return because my husband really disliked it. It certainly wasn’t worth the $ 37 for 2 adults and 1 kid. Service was ok.

As good of a food bar as I have ever seen. Steak, chicken salads, and the seafood. Their array of mussels is great and their oriental food is very good. Lunch is a special buy, $ 7.95 and a glass of water and you can be miserable the rest of the day.

rotten salmon would NOT recommend this place. it was enticing because they delivered. but never again. I only had the sushi. but, in their defense I don’t think anywhere in this area has fresh fish… sorry NC natives!

Wow! I made a huge mistake eating at Hibachi Buffet. I should have turned around and walked out the moment I sat down at a booth. The place is disgusting and filthy. My shoes were sticky from walking on the floor. Much less, many of the items on the buffet simply were not to be eaten — especially the shrimp. Much of the food wasn’t even Asian or Chinese. Instead, you’re offered poor-quality American food: burgers, pork chops, mac and cheese. The sushi was warm; I only ate one piece and nearly threw it up. As to the wait staff — there wasn’t one. I never got a refill, even though staff members walked by my table multiple times. I even had to ask someone to get me my check. All in all, it’s one of the worst places in Burlington to eat. I’ll never return.

Hibachi, Buffet, if you like hibachi food, you will like this place. There is a lot to choose from, but the raw bar to the chef station is the ticket. Not fine dining by any stretch, it is a buffet, but the price is right at $ 9.99 per person.

Don’t do it, don’t even think about it. The fried shrimp had to be left over from the night before. Place was filthy. Service was worse than awful, and it’s a buffet. I mean, all you have to do is keep drinks filled and keep the buffet stocked. You could train monkeys to do it, but yet, they can’t pull it off. I would have rather had a Big Mac.

Awesome food and large selection to choose from. This is one of the largest buffets with a Mongolian chef also that I have been too. Fresh and hot food at a very reasonable price.
