Good rural craft store; I still buy a lot of supplies here when I come home. Fabric is kinda disappointing — the usual explosion of quilting cotton in prints of varying hideousness, and printed fleece advertising sports teams I don’t support. Every now and then they have a good sale, or an interesting apparel fabric will come in. Employees are the usual mix of knowledgeable/interested in crafting and«this was my absolute dead last job choice.» Definitely smaller than Hobby Lobby, but Hobby Lobby is a) run by a group of total nutjobs, and b) full of overwhelming islands of the ugliest home décor tchotchkes of all time. That being said, sometimes it does pay to do price comparisons between Hobby Lobby and Joann — there isn’t one that’s consistently cheaper than the other.
