I love their large sized subs, especially their Chicken Parm sub. The meats and breads are fresh and they do not take enormous time to get your sub ready. This is a pick up Deli, no seating is available. Also, i am THE biggest fan of their cakes and pastries!

LOVE this place! Best bakery anywhere in metro north. They did our wedding cake – beautiful, delicious and delivered on time. We’ve had their subs – wonderful. Their stuffed peppers are delicious. Once, when I was asked to bring a dish to a cookout with veggies, I bought a couple of containers of their roasted vegetables(out of this world and cooked to perfection) and a couple of one of their pasta salads with oil dressing. I mixed them together and everyone loved it! Their baked goods are real quality. I have been to some places in the area masquerading as bakeries – just awful. You can tell the others were cheap, stale imitations. This place is #1 – always the best quality! Everyone always oohs and aahs when I tell them I got desert at LaCascia’s!

A local tradition. HUGE selection of salads, sandwiches, and baked goods. Food is fresh and really good across the board. The teriyaki steak bomb is off-the-charts. Super strong townie vibe.

Whenever I need lunch catered to work, La Cascia’s is my go-to spot to call. The catering staff is always friendly and helpful when you need advice on what to order. They’re known most for their steak tips and desserts. However, I’ve never ordered anything bad from them. For this catering order we got pans of steak tips, grilled asparagus, sweet and sour baked wings, buffalo chicken pizza, cupcakes, and cookies. All of which were gone in a matter of minutes. Give them a ring!

HIGHLYRECOMMENDFORDESSERTSANDSANDWICHES! This review is based on their steak tip sandwich, Italian sub, and pastries(fruit tart and mini chocolate cake with Oreo cookie filling — I forgot what it was called!)! –I’m a chocolate fanatic, and the chocolate Oreo cake was THEBEST balance of chocolate cake and mousse-like filling. Ever. That cake is insane. –The fruit tart was for my sister and she loved it too –The steak tip was really hearty for lunch and was stuffed with delicious BBQ meat! –The Italian sub was surprisingly refreshing with a pico de gallo type filling in the middle

Our family saw the review on Phantom Gourmet and we had to try it! The store is smaller than what is portrayed in the pictures and on tv. Deli/subs/pizza The steak a la Fred was okay. As one reviewer wrote the steak has a sweet marinade. The eggplant parmigiana sub was sub par and lacked flavor. The chicken parmigiana sub had flavor and was filled with chicken cutlets. The meatball parmigiana sub was good and had good flavor. The cheese pizza looked great with its thin crust, but the crust was not crisp and did not hold up the cheese. The cheese mixture however was great! Bakery The beautiful display of sweets was breathtaking! Our favorites to get would be the lobster tail and cannoli. Even though the cannolis were pre filled, the still had a nice crunch to the shell. The filling was just right too. All of the other pastries we got were disappointing, from ricotta pie to an apple turn over. The Neapolitan was not worth the one bite I did take.

Saw La Cascia on Phantom so decided to try it at lunch with a friend while we were in the area running errands. A little disappointed that there weren’t any tables, it’s take-out only. Service: great and very friendly Deli: we decided to share the marinated steak tip garden salad(excellent marinade and average tenderness, great grill taste, garden salad was nothing to rave about, mostly iceberg lettuce, a few slices of peppers, cucumbers and grape tomatoes), a pint of vegetable medley(lightly steamed, we think, and not really seasoned, mostly summer veggeis of yellow and green squash, carrots, peppers) and a slice of pepperoni pizza(very good). Bakery: my friend picked up three pastries: a blueberry coconut bar, an individual apple crumb/pie and a cream/cherry filled pastrie(for which I cannot recall the name but they are very popular here). I chose the apple crumb/pie like my friend and a gingerbread cookie. We shared the cream/cherry filled pastry and it was delicious. Very light and flavorful. The gingerbread cookie was OK, semi-soft in the middle and hard on the limbs/outer edges. I prefer soft and very gingery. We saved the other bakery items for«later». My friend reported the blueberry coconut bar was too sweet but we both enjoyed the apply pastry. Deli/Lunch was about $ 17. Pastries around $ 12 total. Overall, a 3.5 experience.

This review is based solely on the pastries/desserts, which are AMAZING! We stopped by here a couple weekends ago after hearing good things about the lobster tails, and we were not disappointed! I live in Boston and have tried my fair share of pastries from various North End bakeries, but for me, the lobster tails and cannolis at La Cascia’s win by a landslide. The lobster tail was perfectly crispy on the outside, and the filling was delicious. We loved the Oreo cheesecake that we tried as well. We went back this weekend for chocolate covered cannolis, which were incredible! I think this will be one of our go-to bakeries from now on.

Always been a favorite. Love the steak and cheese… with extra cheese. Good bakery — as close as your gonna get for a suburb. Small take out restaurant, no tables Small parking lot but I have always found parking

This review is only for their CAKES and STEAKTIPS. My company and I love to choose this place for catering, ordering in, or going there for pick up. It is the best spot to grab a quick bite whether it be their sandwiches or dinner plates. We also get a ton of cakes, and they were always a hit. My favorite cake: Their strawberry short cake’s amazing. Light, fluffy in texture, and not too much sugar. They are known for their steak tips. They are amazing. Not overly cooked, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. You can let them know how you’d like it done. I typically get their steak tip dinner plate with two sides, but if you are on-the-go or like it in sub form, get the steak tip sub. Unfortunately this deli/bakery/food shop doesn’t have seating, so come prepared to take out!

Love this place! Fresh baked desserts and breads, scratch made Italian food, and some of the best sandwiches around! If you’re in a rush pick up some of the pre made dinners for the family!

I don’t know, they are good but not 4 stars good. Staff are ok friendly. One time I ordered a sandwich off the menu and ask if I can different cheese and skip the hot peppers, but the guy told me please order the way it is. So I ended up with a sandwich not really what I wanted. But I have to say, within Burlington, they are the best.

After seeing a piece on Phantom Gourmet featuring La Cascia’s recently I had to reacquaint myself again. I was going back and forth between Chip’s tips sub or the steak bomb so I asked the gent behind the counter what he would recommend and he said Steak Bomb so that’s what I went with. While the bomb was cooking I went by the bakery side and bought one of their amazing lobster tails and a couple whoopie pies as well. Once my sandwich was finished the gentleman handed it to me and said«that’s the best steak bomb you’ll ever have!» Guess what, he was right, it was fantastic! Stuffed with steak and all the veggies as well as pepperoni and it was delightful. I will definitely return to La Cascia’s a lot sooner than later!!!

My wife and I end up in Burlington quite a bit, and inevitably we’re looking for some place to grab a quick lunch. Normally we would stop in Lexington or grab something quick while we are at th Burlington Mall. However, now that we have found La Cascia’s, it may be our new lunch spot. La Cascia’s is an Italian deli/bakery with a wide variety of lunch/dinner options, as well as desserts. For lunch and dinner, they carry subs, pizza, prepared food items(chicken, pasta, etc.), stuffed peppers, salads, and other tasty items. The various chicken sandwiches and subs are my go-to, as the chicken is well-prepared and seasoned. The bakery has a number of great offerings, including the ridiculously good chocolate tart, cookies, and various cakes. Again, everything I’ve tried has been very good. There is no area to eat in the location, so it’s purely a to-go option. The staff has been friendly and helpful on every one of my visits. Overall, this is a good option if you’re in the area and want a solid lunch and dessert.

I was introduced to this bakery by a friend who lives nearby who told me it was mindblowing. I’ll admit I was a little wary, because you know how sometimes you get your hopes up based on someone’s review and it isn’t as good? Don’t worry about that happening here! This place is, in the words of myself circa-1996, «the BOMB!» What have I eaten here? Hawaiian pizza — DELICIOUS Vanilla birthday cake with white frosting — very moist and well balanced amounts of frosting vs. cake Chocolate tart — uh again, please Lemon cake — AMAZING I know that I tried two of their other pastries, too, and they were good(though I can’t remember what they were). If you’re in the area(or even if you’re not!) head over. It is worth it!

Found this gem on small business Saturday and will definitely go back. I sampled a bit of everything and it was all good. Their pastry case is loaded with delicious looking goodies. I went for the classic black and white cookie and it did not disappoint. The cookie(2 $) had a perfect cakey texture and was big enough to share. The Italian food all looked good and I ended up grabbing a couple of Sicilian slices to go(1.75 $ each), as well as a prepped calzone ready to bake for the next day. I would definitely go back for a couple slices of that Sicilian or even a whole pan for a party. There is no place to sit so you have to take your stuff to go. This is a great local shop and worth repeat visits.

I work nearby so my coworkers and I are here almost on a weekly basis. Their steak tips is the best in the area! It’s reminiscent of the Chinese red BBQ sauce. They actually sell the rub for $ 6.99 and it usually lasts me for 4 grilling sessions(2 – 3 lbs of meat each) Their Sicilian pizza is also great at only $ 1.50 a slice. Any of the grilled paninis is absolutely amazing! Their desserts is also phenomenal! My favorite is their seasonal Oreo cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake that they have in the cooler months. Their made to order cakes is phenomenal. We ordered one for a 30th birthday and everyone raved that it was one of the best cakes. I’d order the cake instead of getting one from the display.
