I read some bad reviews and was worried about going to this place, but I am so glad I did! Great service, huge portions, and delicious food!!! Not much seating so I would plan to get it to go… like the name suggests lol

The chicken ‘lips’ are about the length of my hand and half its width. Two is a lot … one would have been just fine. Overall, it’s a good strip with a very buttery buffalo sauce. Not very hot, however, I can definitely handle more spice than most.
But $ 7 for two strips and fries (crinkles) seems a bit much for Burlington, Iowa. Especially when it’s just takeout in a styrofoam container.

I love fried chicken and chicken strips. This was a great combo of meaty chicken strips with buffalo sauce. We dined in– and there are just a few chairs and counter tops to eat at. Better for take out, but the food was decent and the price was right.

One of the best meals Burlington has to offer! Love lips with ranch dressing! Definitely a must try if you’re ever in the area.

Thought I would really like the lips. I was a bit disappointed. Being fried they were hot. Flavor and texture was OK, meat separates from the coating pretty easy. Sauce was pretty runny I would prefer less but had it thicker. Service was not that fast but they were busy with a lot of take our orders. I would try it again and try maybe something different.

I had been looking for some good buffalo chicken in SE Iowa and I found it!
2 really good sized strips and perfectly cooked seasoned waffle fries filled me up and the heat level was just right on the chicken lips. Do not forget the bleu cheese dip… it is outstanding.
Well worth the drive over from Mt Pleasant!

This is a great restaurant. I always get either just plain lips or the chicken lip wrap. I’ve heard the chicken lip salad is good too. Add a side of ranch or blue cheese to complete the meal.

You will know that you have found the place when you see a logo that has a chicken with a bandage over its «lips». This place specializes in large pieces of chicken that are breaded and then soaked in sauce and come with ranch or blue cheese dressing. The lip itself is quite large (especially when compared to other places serving boneless chicken) and it has some of the tastiest breading around that is then covered in buffalo sauce. Finish it off with some creamy ranch or blue cheese and you have yourself a winner.
