Really didn’t want to like this place because it gave off a hipster vibe, but it was actually quite pleasant. In the front is a nice fireplace area with couches, and in the back is nice seating with local artwork. More of a student/young crowd with less beards Had the large salad which was a good size for someone with as large hunger as mine — got the Spinach Salad with Sesame vinegraitte instead which was delicious! Also, the box for takeout is sustainable and very cool! Also, stays open until 8:30PM so you could finish a book here !

I used to love you, but the last four sandwiches that I got were the most terrible the bread was completely inedible so dry p, thick and hard. A good sandwich should have a good mouth feel all the way through, these are expensive sandwiches. Please be more thoughtful and artful about your sandwich building, I am veg you should have the pesto or dressing on both sides of the bread and the bread should be fresh and not stale as it was the last four times. You have good ingredients use them with more love, I will be taking a long break from you. You should have a class in sandwich building.

One of the best salads of my life, and some of the nicest people. They have a suspended meals program, where you can«suspend» your transaction and chalk up an extra meal for a homeless or needy person in the community. 2-for-1, a good deed, and they cover the costs! Matt, Robin, Becka, and the team are phenomenal members of the community.

Good place to get a latte and cappuccino. My girlfriend and I sat right in front of the cozy and warm fireplace on a snowy Tuesday morning. The breakfast sandwich I had was very fresh– made with Vermont cheddar and turkey bacon. The hash brown potatoes were sliced paper thin and had a ton of flavor. My girlfriend had an omelette with goat cheese and spinach that was equally as delicious. Would definitely visit this place for coffee/breakfast again next time I’m in Burlington.

Love sitting in the early morning sipping a soy Vermont Maple Latte. I just can’t get enough! Always a friendly smile behind the counter eager to take your order and make it right! Lots of natural light pouring through the windows to surround me while I sit on the couch or grab a table. Looking for something sweet, they have a variety of pastries. All on point. A must stop.

So glad I stumbled upon this café! Fantastic, healthy good especially for those vegan and vegetarians like myself. I had the Marco bowl which was awesome(they make the salads right in front of you! Much like sweet greens for those of you who have been there) and the pumpkin delight vegan cupcake(so so yummy). It’s hard to find restaurants/cafes that pertain to a vegan/vegetarian diet and this place is great. Great place to study too. I’ll be here all the time being a student at UVM.

Love their variety! I normally get combo meals, which you get a ton of food with. Plenty of veg options– always happy when seitan is offered, and I’m obsessed with their sweets. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and overall I love going here.

I usually order their Omega Salad to go, which is awesome! It’s a great mix of flavors, with actual cooked salmon, not canned salmon like some other establishments offer. This morning, I ordered a soy latte, and a classic breakfast sandwich with a side of roasted potatoes. They gave me a numbered sign for my order, but didn’t mention that I should wait for my latte, because that won’t be delivered. They delivered my breakfast plate, and the server asked if I wanted ketchup and that he would also bring me some utensils. He didn’t come back. Not a huge deal, but a while later, I watched the same person bring condiments and utensils to the table behind me. The food is good, so just need to set some expectations.

I can’t wait to return to this cozy coffee shop in Burlington. The combination of wooden beams and floors, brick walls, garage door and bar seating overlooking the street and ridiculous amount of space in the back, makes New Moon an ideal coffee shop in my book. The rotating drinks of the day/week don’t hurt either with Vermont flair like«syrup this» and«syrup that» — I’m always down for syrup. The folks working behind the counter are willing to play along with your questions and curiosities– always a bonus for those of us who are new to the world of coffee bebidas. A few other items worth noting: –veggie and vegan friendly eats(this appears to be one of the popular places to go for lunch in downtown Burlington) –gorgeous décor(chandelier) and plush seating — New Moon walks the fine line of «we tried» and«we tried too hard» –tall and industrial-like ceilings –honey at the sugar and fixin’s bar(I’m always on the hunt for my next spoonful of miel) For my next visit: those tiny and adorable mini cupcakes

This is a quick, casual café with a great range of options to suit a variety of specialized diets. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was very tasty at a reasonable price. There looked to be a lot of students hanging out and studying, and it had a chill, ecofriendly vibe(appropriate to Burlington overall). It’s the kind of spot where you order at the counter, and they have a range of soups, salads, and sandwiches in addition to drinks and desserts. Very tasty and well worth a visit!
