My boyfriend and I paid for an ornament over the phone that we have been on the hunt for forever. We were thrilled when we found out they had it and told them we would come pick it up(over an hour and half from where we live). My boyfriends brother was able to make there before us because he passes through Burlington on his way home. The girl at the front desk brought out the package from the back. She said they should check it… The ornament was SHATTERED. Not just one piece broken, but shattered. Laying there DEAD. How do you let an ornament shatter and not call us? Really disappointed us. They did call around to all the pier 1’s but they were all sold out. Point being: Make sure to tell them to store anything very carefully that you want.

Pier 1 is just not doing it for me like it was say 10 years ago. I think that might be because of me not them. The store is nice and service is fine. Prices seem fair. I just prefer shopping a true furniture store and supporting the local small employers and independents. Have a good day and thanks for reading.

The manager here was fabulous. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and funny. She wasn’t the type to be pushy to make her sale and took her time in making sure that we were satisfied with our experience in her store. Usually when going to a Pier 1 store the associates are rather snobby, not here. All the associates were very friendly and we walked out with great deals.
