Great for kids, great job managing a large group. Reservations are a must. Solid Philly Cheese Steak, but they will put lettuce and tomatoes on it unless you specify otherwise!

I wish I could give no stars for this place. I tried it despite being told the food was bad. I thought maybe they were exaggerating. So I get there not bad to start, I get the chicken fingers as an appetizer they come out bland no seasoning what so ever. My meal was supposed to be a barbecue burger cooked to medium, it comes and it’s closer to well done. When it’s time for me to leave I try to get the attention of the waitress, she practically ignored me. Now the section did have other people but it wasn’t über crazy which I would have understood. So basically don’t go here for anything it’s a waste of time and money.

Dragged here by the wife for the kids. They like the theme park-ish atmosphere. The food is lousy and overpriced.

I don’t get all the Debbie downers on this restaurant. The Rainforest Café is awesome sauce. My sister in law dragged us here, and right off the bat I was impressed. Super awesome gift shop awaits you at the entrance. Filled with colorful plush toys and thin flimsy plastic creations. They really had the«we sourced this stuff from an Indonesian sweat shop feel, and passed some savings on to you. No better way to start meal with 22 year old’s than letting them play with stuffed animals, then taking them away. Cool thing, is you totally get to relive this process when you leave because the entrance is also the exit. Wait Staff I really appreciated the über young staff. I hate it when restaurants discriminate against people with«no experience». Give me a fresh faced high school kid who will exceed the amount of flare and doesn’t sweat the finer points of service or try to hard. Hate it when the wait staff tries to hard. Price I thought the price was fine, when you factor in the cost of all the animatronic apes butterflies and HELLO that alligator, yeah it blinks. Felt like I was in Jurasic park. One of our party shit their pants but I won’t tell you which one… That’s my secret. Sure some of the animals have an odd affect both making the kids cry yet pulling them closer so when you go back to get food its another cry session. But its cool because the place is so loud you can hardly hear anything. I could have drowned sissy in-law in the fountain and no one would be the wiser. And I really like how they aren’t afraid to stray from the jungle theme, Atlas the Greek Titan who for some reason had corn rows. maybe it’s there to appeal to the younger Gen X’rs… sure why the heck fire not, he belongs in the jungle, lets not over think this. I got the burger, and it was so much more than just a burger, it was an experience. Comes out on a plastic, cutting board not some boring old plate… umm can you say fancy as all fuck? I felt like the pope at times. Loved how they didn’t season the meat, and it had that frozen patty quality which is great cause freezing kills germs. And you know that when you eat frozen meat you wont be nauseous the entire ride back to Ipswich constantly wondering«should I pull over and vomit on the guard rail on rt 128». So I was eating the burger, and it was rocking an odd new kind of flavor that I wasn’t used to, almost a funk. After the meal My wife was like, «why did you keep eating it if it was bad» So I says back, «been a member of the clean plate club since 1981» And who’s to say the meat was rancid, maybe its a new level of awesome I am not used to. So the awesome was more than I could handle, and I vomited. I put a pic up. Check it out soon cause the awesome crack fire marketing team @jungle café might take it the wrong way, be offended and take it down. OK, back to the benefits of vomiting up your lunch, 1. Now I can eat another lunch and its like a 2 for 1 with calories. Weight loss is easy when you body rejects the awesomeness that Jungle café and throws at you. and 2. I am more confident in my bodies ability to protect itself. which is nice. Warmly, Alex William

Food was ok but is very clear they’re going down and won’t last for too long. Very decadent. Servers look sloppy and place is super expensive. Was not even half full on a Friday night.

It is not what it used to be. First, the fish are all gone. The main archway tank you use to walk under is still there, but all the fish have been removed. The tanks scattered around the restaurant have been replaced by static, non-anamatronis, jungle displays. Secondly, the menu has been reduced to a single sided page with most of the more flavorful and exotic options removed. The prices have also gone up $ 1-$ 2 per entrée from what I can tell. The kids still liked the ambiance, but it its no longer worth the cost in my opinion. Save your money and visit one of the Disney locations(Springs, AK or T-Rex) as it will be a more worthy endeavor.

VISITED: 17Feb2016 SEARCHED: We had previously walked pass the restaurant while walking inside the Burlington Mall. ORDERED: Awesome appetizer adventure, Bamba’s BBQ wrap, hit dog and broccoli from the kids menu, and Python pasta with oranges from the kids menu. QUALITY: About the only thing good was the appetizer which had chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, chips with guacamole and artichoke dip. The wrap did not have a real good flavor. All I could really taste was the BBQ. The fries that came with the wrap were cold. My son’s pasta was watery and flavorless but he did eat it. My other son’s beef hot dog was ok and he ate it up. Overall, the food is not good. SERVICE: Service from the onset was slow. The waiter checked on us a few times. The food took a very long time to come out. Waiter never brought the milk we ordered for our son. Not sure why service was terrible since the restaurant was half full. RECOMMEND: A definite NO for the food. Yes, for the kids. Note– we went on a Wednesday because it is advertised kids eat for $ 2.99. There’s a catch– an adult meal must be purchased with each kid’s meal. To me it is not really worth it. The food is way overpriced for the quality. I will go back but only for the kids. They loved the animals and thunder with lightening. The setting is really nice. Too bad the food is substandard. The most expensive kid’s meal is $ 6.99. I’d rather pay full price for their meal and not get anything for me. Just let them soak up the experience.

Crappy service and manager… no one had patience with us including the cashier at the gift shop. We got eye rollers all day including the manager that walked away while we were talking to him. Our alcoholic beverages did not have any alcohol and we had to pay full price. They were all rude and pissed us off! Also $ 13 for a bowl of clam chowder lmao that’s bull!

Just enjoyed a 5 star experience with outstanding service from manager Alex and our server Ellie. Took advantage of some gift cards and a really awesome customer loyalty program that gave me $ 25 off a very good meal. Nice relaxed time. Drinks are a little on the light side but what I would expect for a family establishment. I would normally award 4 stars but the outstanding friendly service put it over the top. Especially from manager Alex who gave me some suggestions for next time we visit. Liberal drinks and high end dinner selections for 3 without appetizers was about $ 100 plus tip of you want to get a sense of price. Definitely a pleasant and different dining experience.

What a fun and magical place. Want to take a friend who is sad and unable to put a smile on his face, if so, this is the place for you. Tons of birthdays, bouncing Ritalin life forms, and great personalities. For the love of God, please keep the sugar to a minimum. The monkeys go wild when the thunder roars and the children up it a notch more. My dog would freak out and hid under the very tables the kids are using to create music with straws. The prices are quite high so if you are on a budget, this is probably not the place for you, neither is a seizure disorder. You have been warned about this cozy little tropical paradise in Boston. All in all its a great place to spend an evening looking at different life forms and group home residents.

My second time at Rain Forest. A great place to take your kids, they will love the atmosphere and the big alligator at the entrance. Food is «meh» very average. Last time we had raga pasta(don’t go for it, tastes like microwave pasta) and tropical heaven(just ok). At least the portions are generous. The volcano dessert was a bit disappointing, it is huge indeed but because they put way too much marshmallow and tons of whipp cream, so there weren’t much ice cream. The brownie that comes with it is delicious though. What is missing now are the fishes from the tank. My kids were disappointed to see a big tank full of «water»!!! For a party of four expect to spend over $ 100, also your kids may want souvenirs from the shop which will cost you extra.

Great atmosphere for kids, keeps them distracted while you eat. My youngest did get a little scared during the simulated rain/thunder storm so if you have children who frighten easy see if you can be seated further from the elephant or gorillas. Food is average, haven’t found anything that I’m a huge fan of.

Pretty cool setting with wild animals that move and make noises, my son think it’s cool. The food was sub par my husband thought it sucked, but more for the atmosphere to keep the kids entertained.

I have been here a few times, and its pretty cool. I love the inside and all the sound effects. The food isn’t too bad and I have never really had bad service here. They have a nice gift shop too. I like the volcano dessert they have– it’s really yummy. I would go back(:

If you haven’t been to a rainforest café you’re missing out. Especially if you have kids this is the place to be. I’m an adult and I love it, all the animals and I show it’s just great. It’s literally a rain forest with all the animals you would find. Kids are allowed to walk around alone and check out the animals as well. The drinks are Amazing! I have never had a bad alcoholic drink from here. Pay a little extra and keep the glass, that’s what I did a cute souvenir. Now to the food, they don’t have a huge selection but it varies in food. The names are rainforest names. I actually enjoy the food and the appetizers here. They also offer this thing called volcano and they make it this big thing, they yell volcano it’s huge and it’s cute a chocolate cake with chocolate drop and looks like a volcano. My server was so sweet, and we never waited much for anything. She was on top of the drinks and very attentive. I didn’t get her name which I’m upset, but my fiancé and I enjoyed our experience. Oh when you go please make a reservation this place gets packed!

We came here for a family lunch. We’d known about the place for years but it’s rather far for a casual meal. There is a lot of atmosphere including decorations, animals, water features and an aquarium that used to have fish but now is all bubbles. Also in the atmosphere is a lot of sound. Conversation was limited by the ambient noises of the waterfall we sat near as well as the weird top 40 soundtrack behind all of the other noise in the place. The menu was meh. I didn’t want a burger or seafood so I ended up with a bbq chicken wrap and coleslaw and neither was very good. Their BBQ sauce is very sweet and a bit smokey, the taste is not one I cared for. The rest of our party enjoyed their food more but nothing really stood out as above average. For the money($ 14 – 22 per dish) the quality was not up to par. This would have been a three-star review until it came time to pay the bill. We put cash and a card in the billfold and when it came back out to sign, the money was gone but not taken off the total. This was resolved by a manager as our server was nowhere to be found. She explained that«he’s new» which is fine but it shouldn’t have gotten out of the register and if we had just added a tip and signed without looking again, we would have lost the cash. It took a while for our server to acknowledge that we were ready to leave and a bit longer after that to straighten out the bill which was frustrating. It’s a fun place for kids and my three year old really liked the animals though then every 30 minutes thunderstorms got to her a bit. We might go back and give it another shot but it won’t be soon.

This place is a lot of fun, specially for kids. Every 15 minutes some of the animals give a little performance, and every 30 minutes there is a thunderstorm. It makes dining quite exciting and fun. And we have no kids :) Our server was incredibly friendly and cheerful, and the food was OK. A bit dissappointed with the burger, but acceptable nevertheless.

So we decided to visit a friend that works in the area and came across this place! It looks just like a rainforest and has great fake animals and lots of greenery! It actually looks very real and is really cold in this place due to the rain coming down in this place. We got seated quickly! They have tables for 246 and 8! We had great customer service and the food was amazing! We will go back again because my lady loves places like this!

Went here for lunch and it wasn’t busy at all. The server, manager, chef were excellent about my food allergies once again. So for that, I love this place! However, the server came at the beginning of our meal and didn’t ever check back. My mother-in-law ordered a chicken Caesar salad and they forgot her chicken. We tried to flag someone down throughout the course of the meal but we were sitting far away and no one could hear us over the loud water fountain. The food is overpriced but my son loves the atmosphere! Plus, Nana was paying. ;-)

As long as you are know you are coming here because your kids are going to love all the animals, and the water, and the fish tanks, and not because you’re going to be getting good food at a reasonable price, then you’ll be ok. My daughter, who is just about 4, LOVED it. There was quite a wait for our lunch, but it was bearable because my daughter was up the entire time walking around looking at all the animals. They do have«thunderstorms» every 45 minutes ago where they play thunder over the speakers and bright lights flash on and off, but it didn’t phase our daughter or our 9 month old son. The food was exactly what you would expect from a place like this. It was edible, but not terrific, and slightly overpriced, but not crazy expensive. Having to pass through a gift shop to and from our table also wasn’t my favorite part of the experience, but they must be making money off of it as I saw quite a few people making purchases.

Very interesting and unique design but the food is terrible. Great place for a kids to walk around feeling like they in jungle. I was very disappointed in food. First it took 25 minutes to get burger and a salad. Burger was cold not ever warm and had the cheapest type of cheese. Fries was ok at least. Salad had just a few pieces of chickens but tons of wontons and a bit of dressing. They need to bring their food to a different level and the place will be packed. The staff are very friendly.

Food… no thank you. But the décor is a big thumbs up! Made a detour on the way to the Border for our toddler. He loved the gift shop(haha) but was a little afraid of the thunderstorm that happens every 15 – 20 minutes. Kind of loud and all the animals go berserk, so be mindful of where they try to sit you. Cute idea as you enter the restaurant, they give you a passport and then you make your way past the gift shop and cool aquiriums to be seated. Lots to look at see! Our waitress was great… too bad the food was overpriced and not so great. One plus is the candy/fudge shop across the way and don’t miss the huge alligator at the front!
