I stopped by to inquire about replacing the screen on my wife’s iPad. I was told that it was relatively quick and got a quote of $ 175. I returned with the iPad first thing on a Saturday morning and was told it would be finished either that night or on Sunday. After not hearing from anyone, I called on Monday to check the status. I was told that they didn’t have any white digitizers in stock, but one was on order. I then received a call Wednesday morning that the repair was done. The new screen and digitizer works great and the workmanship is great as well. Just a little upset that I wasn’t kept informed about the delay.

I’m VERY upset. So where to start? 1. They FAILED to mention that a screen replacement voids your apple warranty. I figured this but so no big deal. I do feel like they actively tried to conceal this — its on their receipt but the guy had it folded over so that I wouldn’t read it when I signed it and definitely didnt offer this information. Okay like I said I figured this so no big deal. 2. The guy had us half checked in and started helping another customer for twenty minutes then told hem to hold and came back to us. Not very professional. 3.Six days after they replaced my screen my screen suddenly(literally) went blank. So I took it back and they«added» a piece. Huh? Well I wish it stopped there but it doesn’t. 4.So then I get my phone back(after the second time they had it) and all 2,000 of my pictures Are erased along with 3,000 often songs. Oddly apps, texts, emails, and wallpaper are still there. 5. When I called(978−601−6375 per their invoice) to see if they maybe had a backup they needed to restore, no one picked up and the voicemail said it had not been sent up to receive messages. I called the liberty tree location and frank instant messaged the Burlington mall to call me and with my telephone number. p. s. frank seemed nice, was sympathetic, and very helpful. 6. Somehow the burlington manager called my boyfriend instead of me and he was told that I must have done something because the only way to lose the pics was to plug it in to a computer. Rest assures this did not happen — my phone even says last sync was 9÷27÷12. Now I’m on the Internet researching where on my computer the phone downloaded the pics. No I didn’t have iCloud on. I lost my only pics from the last day i saw my now deceased beloved dog. I have vowed that because of this(thanks for blaming it on me guys) that I will now tell everyone I know not to use the tech center. They received your money and now they’re not standing behind their work. Ps I was not offered any refund or other consideration for the fact that the initial repair went bad either…

The guys at the tech center did an awesome job at replacing the cracked screen on my iPhone at a decent price! i didn’t have insurance on my phone and they were willing to fix it for cheaper than AT&T and Apple. Over all they were nice guys, great quality and service.
