Not impressed in the least! The waitress has either ADD or short term memory loss, NOT adequately trained to be dealing with people or food, the food was wrong from the start, and we were the ONLY table in there!

Poor service and food is edible, but that’s about it. My son’s quesadilla was a tortilla folded in half with semi-melted shredded cheddar cheese and a tablespoon of grease. My salad that was supposed to have shrimp and avocado had 2 pieces and 2 tiny pieces of avocado. I will NEVER go back there. Don’t recommend to you either.

Ees preetty good! Carnitas and Pollo El Mexicana really good. No choice of beans and don’t usually choose refried, but these were good. No alcohol means no before dinner Margarita. Super fast service and not expensive. Would recommend if you’re in Burnet.

Great little place for good Mexican breakfast. We stumbled upon this place while traveling thru to Marble Falls.

Shouldve went to Whataburger!!! Says my wife and shes not crazy about Whataburger! We came to Burnet for the Christmas festivities going on tonight and decided to eat here afterwards but not so lucky tonight stopping at this place! The queso, rice and beans were the only thing worth eating! Everything else was missing one key ingredient! FLAVOR!!! Mexican food that had no flavor! Really? Barbacoa and enchiladas had no flavor at all! Very disappointing! We asked the waiter with all the people coming in from out of town for the festivities why wouldnt this restaurant be busy to tonight? He said this restaurant is usually slow and not much going on. Well we found out why! I rate this place one star only for the queso, rice n beans. Bland Mexican food NOBUENO!!!

This is our go to for just good affordable mexican food. Open late, so that’s a plus. Burrito loco is where it’s at. Wish they served alcohol, just BYOB for now.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times & the food is ok at best. However, when I go in at 9:40 with the open sign on and get refused service by the manager because they«close in 15 minutes»… Well, let’s just say that’s enough to keep me from returning. I’ll stick with The Maxican & El Rancho!

I thought the food was good and the place was very clean. I had the grilled chicken salad. Waiter was fine and the food was delivered quickly.

We thought this was our new favorite Mexican restaurant, but sadly it is not. We ordered beef fajitas for two. The«meat» that came out of the kitchen lacked almost everything(eye appeal, taste and presentation). The meat had no sear or sizzle… it was grey and full of gristle. There were very few onions and peppers and the meat had no seasoning. We do like their chips and salsa hence the two star rating. A disappointment on our third visit. We’ll move on.

Had breakfast there. Not bad but not excellent. Migas was good. Service was good. I would eat there again.

Service is great, food is average. Best item and bang for your buck are their breakfast tacos.

Good food! This was my second visit, both times i was happy with the food. Im really picky about mexican food, and this was pretty good. The guacamole was amazing, not the cheap prepackaged stuff most places serve. Didnt care for the ground taco meat that the hubby got, get the asada instead, its great.

Welllll, ummm, here’s the deal. Service there is AMAZING! They are so super friendly and move super fast! There generally aren’t many servers, but you would never know it. There are a few items that are good, but for the most part I was not a huge fan. Cheese wasn’t stringy and melted it was still in grated form in my enchiladas. Kitchen looked a little sketchy… I will rate them 2 stars on service alone and give them an extra star because they had good chips and salsa.

If you happen to be making your way through Burnet and you need some grub, I’d recommend Hacienda El Charro as a stop. The architecture is obviously that of an old school drive up, waitresses on roller skates burger joint, but has been refashioned into this quaint Mexican restaurant. Jessica R. and DUBS D. and myself entered and ordered. I chose the Chicken burrito with green sauce. I typically order everything without sauce and in this case, I probably should have again. I found the sauce kind of overwhelming. The burrito had beans, cheese and meat in it — as all burritos should. Listen up Texas! All burritos should start with beans and cheese. BEANSANDCHEESE! Anyhow, despite the sauce the burrito was very good. Chicken was moist and flame broiled. Plus, they had Topo Chico! What, what?!?
