I agree with Karen! This is definitely not a resort, just an odd assortment of houses far away from Lake Cumberland proper. The pools were small and over crowded. I thought it was weird how everything in the house had a price tag on it, and that the beds were not made. Also the house was filthy when we got it. There is free wifi but its not functional. Over all the house was nice and reasonably priced, but I think it was falsely advertised as being a resort when its not. I won’t be coming back here.

In a nutshell, this is not a resort by a long shot. Is more of a planned gated community that couldn’t sell all their units. The company that manages the rentals has no business being in hospitality. We had trouble with very rowdy neighbors and were told that they could do nothing because the people were«owners». So forget the 11 pm quiet time. They can’t and will not enforce it. Items were run down, nonfunctional, or subpar for the weekly rate we paid. If you have a problem after 5 pm, you’re completely out of luck until someone comes into the office at 8:30. Security is just that and won’t dispatch an emergency repairman if, for example, your kitchen is rendered functionless because the circuit fried. The area isn’t even that great. We sought out the area reputed to be a natural beauty but what we found were state and national parks that were not well maintained and cities that time forgot. If you’d like waterfalls and mountains, try somewhere else.
