I went into here today for lunch while waiting for my ride. The second I walked in, the place definitely reminded me of those small family-owned Chinese restaurants on every corner in New York(at least in the neighborhood I lived in) lol. The restaurant is pretty run down and has 3 tables. So this is definitely a take out spot. The photos of some entrees on the wall were old and the place just looked pretty old in general. Not very clean. I had the combination meal, shrimp with garlic sauce. It came with pork fried rice, a vegetarian egg roll(not that great in my opinion) and 2 small cream cheese wontons. The entrée itself was quite large. Total was about $ 9, so definitely a very reasonable price if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and are craving some Chinese food. If I was in the area, I would probably come back to try some of the other entrees. They had quite a large menu.

Gross. Went on a recommendation from a colleague. Food and service were very quick, but the cleanliness of the restaurant was disgusting. Food sitting out on counters, silverware out in the open,… Yuck. I ordered the general Tsos lunch special. Chicken was very crispy but over cooked. Sauce lacked flavor. Rice seemed old. And then I found two hairs on my chicken… Pass. Keep driving and check out Crystal Jade in Eagan!

When I walked in, the first thing I saw was the dust. It was everywhere and inches thick. Also it looked like a run down place, dirty tables(old furniture) walls not painted you can see the black marks on it. And it smelled ! Hmm so would you want to eat in this place or from this place? If their resturant is kept this way, how will their food taste ? Well I tried it and oh my nasty. Tasted old rice and meat. Meat is way too over cooker and they use alot of frozen stuff . Never again I go there.

There is a golden wok in Bloomington too and that location is definitely the better one. We were happy to know that there was a golden wok closer to home, but I was just not overly impressed with this location. This is a definite take out place, I do not recommend eating in. They have been around for a long time and apparently they had some awards hanging in the dining area, but those had to have been from at least a decade ago. I really think they need to invest a couple hundred dollars and paint the walls and clean their windows. Most times I’m not overly picky about the inside of places that tend to be outdated, but this location was just kind of icky. The food here was just okay. They always get thumbs up for your money’s worth, but I felt the stuff we ordered lacked in flavor. Overall, I have a couple other places in the area that I would prefer and I don’t think I’ll be coming back here.
