Metro Dentalcare – Burnsville Children’s Dentistry

A member of my family goes here not me since I’m an adult and Aidan’s mom. Aidan has been going here since age 4 or so. He is 11 now. The hygienist is so good at cleaning his teeth and discussing brushing and flossing. Kids get an Oriental Trading Company plastic trinket from the box when done. I remember Aid taking over 5 minutes to find something good when he was little. Dr. Alevisos shakes your hand, greets son by calling him sweetie and examines teeth. In the past, she pushed this trainer appliance on us to prevent braces in the future, but we declined. She also says no to chocolate milk and fruit snacks but no comment on pop or juice boxes weird. The hours are not really convenient so your child misses school. They take patients 7 – 3 Monday through Thursday and no Fridays as they see kids in a hospital. Dr. Alevisos strongly encourages sealants and this is a specialty of hers. The exam rooms are cutely painted with bright colors and there is a dog theme and sea theme room that I know of. How I wish this dental office would have been around in the 70’s and 80’s when I was a kid. Aidan also gets a tooth brush and floss to take home.

I can’t believe there is not a review on this place, what a great experience. We went today for our 3 year old daughters fiat dentist appointment. We were feeling a bit anxious about how this was going to go, but it was so much better than expected. Everyone was so great and made us all feel super comfortable. Honestly we were so pleased with front desk, assistant and dentist. Thank you so much.
