I’ve been a Run N Fun customer for almost 20 years. The shoe & apparel selection, price, and knowledgeable staff is what keeps me coming back. If possible, I always prefer to support local stores in my community and am very happy to support Run N Fun.

I bought running shoes there about six months ago. I tried wearing them multiple times and they just kept rubbing my heels raw. I contacted Asics, and was told that the store gets Defective Allowance that covered cases like mine that are outside store typical return policy. Called the store to confirm that I can bring the shoes back according to Asics email, of I was better off shipping them directly to Asics to get another pair in 6 – 8 weeks. A“store manager” assured me that if I find my statement, since I did not keep my receipt, the will be able to exchange my shoes for a different model(no need to wait 6 – 8 weeks, the store was willing to accommodate me the next day). So I looked for my statement, drove all the way there, and when I got there I found out the guy was not a manager, they brought out new shoes and only then told me that they will only give me a partial credit. I once again explained to the guy there that I was told it was going to be no problem, and I only took the time to go there after I confirmed with the«store manager» it was ok to bring my shoes back. They did not want to hear anything, and told me there was nothing they can do. What a date of time, and I was lied to by the«store manager». Should have saved my time, and sent my shoes directly to Asics without going there. Thanks for nothing. Will never shop their again.

I have been going to Run N Fun for over 20 years(since it opened). Perry and his staff are second to none. They have had a lot of competition from the corporate types of running stories, but those stories lack the personal connection that Run N Fun have with each and every of their customers. My wife Bonnie and I will continue to go there for another 20 years as far as I can see. If I’m going to spend my money with doing something I love I’m going to give it to a small local business long before giving it to any the major shoe stores. I give this five stars without any reservation. If you are interested in sitting down with knowledgeable staff in getting the exact right shoe for you, this is the running store for you. They will not push you towards the she was a month or any shoe manufacturer that giving them a great deal. They only matchup the right shoe at the right price and put you in front of the shoe companies.

My wife and I have recently taken up running. It works off the calories of the places we eat out at that I’ve yet to review. Anyway, we walked in to the Burnsville shop just in time. Because just after«dinner time» it got busy. Regarding the store and staff, great selection of shoes and running clothes and the prices are actually better than the chain stores like Finish Line. The staff of three were very helpful, however they did seem overwhelmed by the crowd that came in. That being said, they were friendly and informative, explaining the difference in shoe types(stability vs. cushioned); what pronation is; and some other stuff I should know for the betterment of my feet during and after running. One of the women looked at the way I walked, but couldn’t pinpoint my shoe type. However, I was invited back with my old running shoes to get a better eval. Regarding my wife, the third salesperson explained why a certain shoe wasn’t a good idea for her training type, not knowing she had just purchased it at a different store(and will be returning it) One more thing I was impressed with was that they suggested me going outside the store to see how the shoes felt on concrete. Like I said, they seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowd, yet still suggested it. I like the website, too. It gives a quick profile of the owners and sales staff and their relation to the sport of running.

Went here because my runner friend recommended it. I was not even greeted entering the store. The employees were crowded around the tv watching the football game. A young female employee watched how I walked and recommended I get stability shoes. She watched me walk for 30 seconds. She was rather ditzy and unhelpful. I tried on 3 shoes she recommended and I said I sort of liked one pair. Then she just stared at me. I came in to buy shoes that day and she seemed to not understand that she needed to sell them to me. I had to request that she bring out more shoes for me to try on. She seemed annoyed by this because I was picking shoes myself off the wall. She brought the shoes back, and I tried them on. Then she sat in front of the tv for 15 minutes! I had to finally call her over, and asked her if I seemed to fit into my size well. She didn’t even measure my foot when I came in to make sure I was in the right size, and so at that point she came to feel where my toes were and she said I needed a size 8.5 instead of a 7. She seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. Then she offhand mentioned that there was a treadmill in store and I could try them out running if I liked, Duh! Yeah, that would be useful to mention before. I have never used a treadmill, which I mentioned to her. I told her I didn’t know how to start it and she walked away to return to the tv! I liked the shoes and think they were same price as other places, but I did get the Navy discount. Will not be going back. Go only if you know what you need.
