Adventure Inn Bed and Breakfast

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this wonderful home… and the very first time we’ve stayed more than once at the same B&B, and we’ve stayed at many. The Toy Box room is wonderfully decorated and is very spacious. The breakfasts are terrific, and Nicholas and Sandy are terrific hosts and just wonderful people. You will not be disappointed with your stay here!

Stayed one night in August at this place of beauty. Beach is rocky– you must have beach shoes. The Toybox was large and airy-​the view was delightful-​I wished for a balcony. The shower had low pressure and that is my only complaint. I would come back if I could.

I’ve been lucky enough to stay here twice — so far. The first time I was in the area on business on a beautiful summer day and treated myself to being on the lake. The second time I took my husband with me for two cold blustery days in winter. And what do you know? I can recommend this B&B no matter the weather!
Both times I was in the Toy Box, which is a huge bedroom, beautifully-​appointed, with a stunning view of the lake from a very comfortable couch. Seriously, a person could stay in that room with its beautiful bathroom, comfortable furnishings and luxurious bedding for days without even venturing out. But then you’d miss the deck, the beach, the delicious breakfast, and the wonderfully welcoming innkeepers, Sandy & Nick.

Since it was my birthday weekend, my husband decided to plan a surprise night at a bed and breakfast for us. He chose this B&B for several reasons: 1) we had stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed it, 2) It wasn’t too far away from home, but seemed far enough that we were away, 3) the innkeepers are marvelous. The room that we stayed in, The Toy Box, has wonderful picture windows that overlook the lake. The room also has a plasma TV, Bluray DVD that has Netflix streaming, authentic old time slot machines (they actually work) and is decorated with a very charming flair. The room is very spacious and has a private bathroom with a huge stand up shower. The innkeepers, Sandy and Nicholas, go out of their way to make you feel very welcome and inviting. They make sure that you have everything you need for your celebration, ie a wine bucket for chilling your wine or recommendations for area restaurants for that special dinner. The breakfast was made to order with special attention given to the finest details of presentation. Thank you Sandy and Nicholas for making my birthday weekend special.
