I love goodwills and I’ve been coming to this one fairly frequently the last 6 months. Although customer service is pretty nice, and it’s in a decent location I’ve left empty handed my last few visits. Furniture is very limited here, the toys section is always a mess, clothes I’ve found are a little more unorganized then others I’ve been too, and prices I’ve noticed have gone up. Sometimes it’s fun to see what they have and hopefully get lucky, but like I said I’ve been leaving empty handed lately):

Hit or miss, depending on the day. I’ve scored a sweet pair of Persol sunglasses here before for $ 1.99 and those babies retail for between $ 300-$ 400. That was an epic score– sadly, one that has not been repeated. Oh well. Often, I pick up super inexpensive white milk glass pieces for my ever-growing collection, but recently there’s been a dearth of good milk glass sightings at this location. Perhaps other collectors have caught onto my secret? Occasionally, my husband will find brand new Ralph Lauren or Burberry ties here for a song, often under $ 4. While there’s certainly a lot of junk and weird castoffs, we sometimes pick up rare vinyl lp’s in very good condition, even with the rice paper linings inside. Most of the books are pretty dog-eared and smell like mold, hence why I usually don’t bother with those too often. The shelves often look like an appliance graveyard. Every type of «fad» kitchen electric that came with a bang and left with a whimper sits on the shelf waiting to be reclaimed. You name it, it’s a veritable«who’s who» of old espresso makers, juicers, frothers, iced tea machines, bread makers, and waffle irons.
