Great Beer Selection! The waitresses are amazingly helpful. Helped me pick a good IPA after searching their large selection. The atmosphere isn’t the nicest but I love it there. Perfect place to just go grab a beer.

I’ve only been once, but was unimpressed. Good beer selection. The menu looks to be mostly frozen foods thrown in a microwave or fryer. My friend & went in for a snack & a beer one afternoon & I was excited to see my favorite beer on tap. Yes! Waitress asked if a tall was ok, I said yes assuming it was going to a 16oz. It wasn’t. It was a beautiful 22oz. I wasn’t mad about it, just wished she would let me know the size I was going to be getting. I’m a slow beer drinker so 22oz takes me a while to drink. My friend ordered a wrap that she enjoyed & I just got cheese sticks, which were good(but really, how could you mess up cheese sticks?). We had barley finished our last bite of food before the waitress asked if we were done & left our check. We weren’t going to order anything else, but we both still had over half our beers left. After we paid, a friend joined us & the waitress looked annoyed. She took our friends order & about one bite into his food came up to us & said she was leaving needed him to cash out… Um ok? I’ve been in the business for many years & have always had to finish my last table before leaving. I think that was rude of her. Maybe I’m too picky. I’ll go back for beers & to check out their wing night.

If you like a hole in the wall bar, you found it. Lots of beer choices. Typical bar food. Stinky, run down and watch out for that hole! Service got our order to the table, not much else I can say. So much potential here.

Fantastic service, good fries, AMAZINGWINGS! Did I mention the service. While I’m too young to have alcohol, I think the selection was good. With that being said, it’s quite crowded and a tad noise, then again, it was after Happy hour. I very much recommend this bar.

Let me preface this by saying the food was AWESOME! The beer list is very impressive, and the prices for growlers are a great value. The service tonight was some of the worst I have ever had, at a restaurant, ever. Our waitress took about 20 minutes to bring us menus after we were seated. My fiancé ordered a Bloody Mary and I got a small pour of Hopslam, and asked for a taste of a beer I had never tried. Drinks came, Bloody Mary was un drinkable and I didn’t care for the sample, asked the waitress to take them away. Food took around 20 minutes, not unreasonable, but one in our party got an entirely different entrée then was ordered. Waitress went to check on it and we were told it would just be a few minutes for the correct food. Everyone was done eating by the time the food arrived. No apologies and never once were we asked how everything was. The word of mouth about this place is crazy, and like I said the food and drink was great, but the service was unapologetically awful.

I stopped in last night for a burger, cause I hear this place has amazing burgers and I can’t seem seem to find a great local burger. So I call and get take-out, which oddly enough I’m not a fan of, because take-out generally sucks from anywhere except Chinese. So I call when I leave my house and place my order. She says 15 min, I’m there in 10. I wait a few minutes and she brings my burger. Very nice, offered condiments and whatnot togo. The décor is cool and the tv’s would be great to watch a game on, plus a ton of beers on tap. So far so good. I get home ready to be disappointed with my togo burger, but I was not. It was amazing! This will def be my go to place for burgers now! Like I said, the place itself looks pretty cool and I def wouldn’t mind hanging out.

Best bar in the area. Staff is great, owners are the coolest, the selection of beers is top notch and so is the food. If you’re looking for fun this is a must.

I’m from out of town and just paid this spot a visit! Goodrich locals referred to The Red Baron as having the best craft beer selection in the area. and they seem to be right! Another bonus was that the food was good. Good Beer or good food, these days, it seems the two are mutually exclusive. We ended up coming in on a special evening, a Short’s Tap Takeover was just 45 minutes away 30+ beers from short’s were being featured. While this was exciting, the down side was that their regular beer list was short. Our server was really personable. She knew a lot about the food and beer(bonus points!). The Gyro, Chicken Strips, and Cajun Wings are are tasty. This place gets 4 stars based on other alternatives in the area.

Hands down the best bar on Center road. Hands down the best Michigan/Craft beer in Genesse County. Fair prices makes it easy to drink. Food… lots of stuff made in house. Service always prompt. Specials are actually specials! Talk to Carley, she knows her stuff and won’t steer you the wrong way– food or drink.

This place is pretty great, especially for the area it’s in. Craft beers a plenty! I had my first date with my boyfriend here and we’ve been coming back ever since. I was pretty impressed with their beer selection and their food menu is pretty extensive. I usually only get drinks here while my guy gets The Original Burger. He always gets that and there’s a reason why, because it’s deliciously juicy. I did, however, once try the Turkey, Bacon, Swiss Wrap. It was HUGE and quite tasty. The side of kettle chips and pickle were great as well. It is a tad dim in there and the décor might be a bit outdated but that’s what makes the place. I will definitely be back for sure!

Great selection of beers on tap. Good food as well! Love the fried pickle spears. I always thought this place was for an older crowd but lately all my old high school and new college friends have been gathering here for birthday parties or just in general. Was very pleasantly surprised by the craft beer selection and knowledgeable staff.

WHATTHEHECKHAPPENED? This was a favorite and now, sadly, I’d give them the cliché’ «0» if possible. We’ve been regular customers to RB ever since they changed their focus from a local drinking hole to a craft beer-bar. It’s always been a simple experience each and every time: friendly staff, lots of beer choices, decent food. I don’t know how many different beers and beer styles I’ve become a fan of by tasting them first here and then coming back to enjoy over and over. We showed up last night and saw amongst their new beers on tap a few we hadn’t yet been able to try. We asked the waitress, the same one who’s helped us out probably the last 5 or 6 times we’ve been there, for a «taste» of the beers that sounded most interesting, something we’ve done countless times. We’re talking a splash at the bottom of a glass here. We were told, no matter how many people in the party, there are only two tastes per table. Two. TASTES. Per. TABLE! It was stupefying to say the least. And from a place that now considers themselves a «brewery.» We decided to let my wife taste what she wanted. She was then told only low abv beers could be tasted. All along Ashley kept reiterating we should«just make our own flight for $ 2 per 4 oz. sample.» When I let the waitress know, with all the kindness I had in me(I mean, she was just the messenger, right?) that we were very disappointed in the new policies and it MAY just keep us from driving 20+ to come here(really, I had no anger, just disappointment), our waitress promptly left and had another waitress take over our table. Mind you, she wasn’t done with her shift, she didn’t apologize or try to empathize with our concerns, she didn’t just go relay our concerns to a manager, she simply decided we were too much for her and washed her hands of our table. Surreal. The whole evening was jaw-droppingly surreal. As I looked over their facebook reviews I see that several people have had severely disappointing experiences here in the last few weeks. Considering the fact that between our house and RB are two beer-bars and a FANTASTIC brewery(Redwood), I can’t see us coming back. And I’m truly, truly sad to say that.

Every time I come here it is so full of life! There’s happy people eating great food and drinking good beers! I personally enjoy coming here and am never disappointed when I do! It’s just a great atmosphere and I would recommend this place to everyone. I enjoy the twisted chicken, fried pickles, and the broccoli cheddar bites! Make sure to try them out :)

Order the fat Daryl. It’s a novel sandwich with chicken tenders, moz sticks, lettuce, tomato, cheese and red sauce on a hoggie roll, while interesting I didn’t find it to have much taste. But it was very filling. The beer menu was nice but found it stacked with ipa’s.

The Red Baron is my favorite must visit bar when in Michigan. The Michigan craft beer selection is excellent(Bells, Founders, Shorts, Kuhnhenn, and many smaller new breweries). During the most recent visit, we learned that they are planning on brewing beer onsite soon. Rumor from the bar staff is the test batches were excellent. Food is good pub food. Buffalo wings are great. The fried combo appetizer is a good mix of cheese sticks, broccoli bites, scalding hot fried mushrooms, wings, and a bunch of fries. Waitstaff is friendly but always busy so don’t expect a long conversation with anyone. There is Keno and other lottery options as well as billiards, and darts. Not sure which days they have it but karaōke here is excellent with a mix of drunken patrons singing kid rock as well as some much more talented people. This place is awesome and I would recommend it to everyone.

They have a really good selection of beers, at least 35 on tap. Came here with a few friends and was surprised to learn they recently brought back karaōke night. At first I thought, why God why do I have to hear these horrible singers but it actually ended up being hilarious! Not sure if it was the guy singing some song by Issac Hayes’ character Chef in South Park tv show«chocolate salty balls» or some crazy stuff like that. At first I thought what a dork but it encouraged people to get up there and go wild. I definitely think I would go back again just for the comedy. If you are in the area why not give it a try? Although I do have to note they do not have wheelchair accessible bathrooms. I actually had to go in the men’s bathroom because it was easier. The guys didn’t mind waiting patiently while I was in there. And our wait staff was great! Although do not do Herradura shots here, they are around $ 10 a shot! Way too over priced.

When it comes to bar-hopping in Flint, if you have any interest in microbrews, you really don’t have much choice but to come here. They have 56? taps and they rotate them quite often. I’ve never once walked into this bar and looked at their beer list and said, «I’ve tried all of these.» I went out there last night and they had one beer from Right Brain Brewery that didn’t even exist on Untappd yet. That’s how good their beer selection is. The prices, considering how many rare beers they have and how many places they’re getting them from, are also very reasonable. If you’re like me, every once in a while, you’ll try to taste too many, and you’ll have to make your wife drive you home while shaking her head at you. I haven’t sampled much of the food. I’ll have to make it a point to try something other than the jalapeño poppers(which just seems to go well with the type of beers I drink there). I’ve been eyeing that Fat Darrel for a while. One of these days I’m going to have to come hungry
