Aquino’s

It took over two hours to get food delivery from this restaurant, which I wouldn’t have minded so much if the food was good.
The Greek salad they sent me was a huge pile of old iceberg lettuce, with some tomatoes, pepper slices, cucumbers and radishes thrown on top. No cheese of any kind (let alone feta), and no olives.
The scrambled eggs and bacon were greasy but edible. The iced coffee was good.

I literally eat here about 4 times a week. I can’t say much about most of their menu because I tend to always get the same delicious cheese empanadas. They’re always delivered fresh and I LOVE their cheese. On some days I notice the cheese changes, including now a yellow cheese and usually on those days there will be less cheese. They just don’t taste as good. But of the 20+ times I’ve ordered there I only recall this happening 4 times. I’ve also had their chicken quesadilla which was huge and very well made but it lacked any pico de gallo or spice in general so it tasted sort of plain. I drink their Strawberry Mango smoothie with OJ and it’s very natural and fresh. They have brought me the wrong flavors twice, but the smoothies so good you excuse it. Their beef empanadas are also great. Delivery is as scheduled and they have great customer service. I will continue to eat here as often as I do. (Unless I realize I should lay off the empanadas)

Idk about the negative reviews, but I’ve never had a bad experience at Aquino’s. The owner has always been super friendly and the portions are big. The prices are especially reasonable if you’re on a budget and the restaurant is very homey.

Me and my lady went here because of the good reviews on Unilocal and because it’s literally less than two blocks from my house. For those of you who left good reviews, you have really low standards for customer service.
The good: Food wasn’t bad (but I’ve had better) and that’s it.
The bad: Horrible customer service (even to other customers while we were there), got my order wrong, food took forever to get to the table, quantity of food was below expectations, they assumed we wanted bottled water when we asked for water and charged us for it instead of asking if we wanted tap or bottled, I got only one square, frozen hash brown for my side of hash browns, the coffee tasted like dirt water.
Conclusion: Not anyone can just run a restaurant just because they want to. Go somewhere else. Tasty’s on the corner of Wycoff and Centre is Amazing.

Pretty good place for breakfast! The food is great, coffee is good, and delivery is quick! Happy to have something like this in the area.

My little spot around the corner, a perfect spot for late breakfast or desperately needed smoothies. I wish I were in here more often, there’s no reason not to be.

What a perfect place for this neighborhood! Evie is wonderful and knows the true meaning of hospitality! They have got a great menu and also deliver.
If you also just looking for a coffee they can do that as well with many options for coffee, creamer and sweeteners.

Didn’t know where to grab lunch and wanted something nearby. Happen to stop at the corner to let a car go by and this little gem in Bushwick caught my eye. It stood out with it’s curb appeal.
So we gave it a shot. And I’m glad we did.
The chicken and beef tacos were worth the wait. Delicious and juicy don’t describe them. And when you add a dollop of the homemade guacamole, it can only be described as leaving you wanting more.
The lady that cooks and waits on you was friendly and accommodating.
Definitely happy we gave this place a try and will be back again and again.

The restaurant offers amazing food. Everything you eat is flavorful. I’ve had the chicken tacos… amazing. I had the chicken and steak wrap… amazing. You will not regret eating here! Definitely recommend.

This is a great little family run restaurant. The food is great and prices are cheap. I highly recommend the guacamole! And the night I ate there, the mom (chef) had just make flan with coconut that she want us to try for free, it was delicious!!!
