After fruitlessly wandering around Ridgewood /Bushwick my girlfriend dragged me in here. Within moments it was clear we struck gold. Greg, the proprietor is a real doll and his inventory is top notch. Not to mention his excellent business model — «We are in a working class neighborhood and the prices reflect this.» It was rare that something was over $ 15 and the stock is KILLER. There is truly something for everyone. For men’s you can find waxed raincoats, vintage basketball jerseys, dope second-hand sneakers. As we left the customer behind us scored a vintage The Clash t-shirt. For women’s you’re especially in luck. There’s an entire section of 90’s tumblr girl pieces: Fuzzy cropped cardigans, chokers, riot grrl blouses. Very Bushwick. But if that’s not quite what you’re looking for keeping digging! I promise you’ll walk out of there with something both stylish and affordable. My girlfriend found a gorgeous 50’s silhouette dress with a plunging neckline and a keyhole back. Perfect for picnics. I got two perfect summer blouses, the *perfect* jumper with all the right details to make it special and an insanely neat All Saints cardigan. All for less than $ 50!!! We walked home skipping in delight. SOLD. Mark my words: I will be their new best customer.

Well-curated, kitschy and fairly-priced, this place is a hole-in-the-wall on the outside, with a tiny store-front right across the street from the M train… you might be inclined to skip it on your way to L-train Vintage down the block… but wander in and you’ll find a HUGE store full of great vintage and second-hand treasures. Good selection of women’s AND men’s clothes, a rarity at mid-priced thrift stores in the area. If you’re looking for something specific, or you can’t find anything in the store, talk to Greg, the owner and he’ll offer you a chance to «look in the back» where there’s tons of clothes that haven’t yet made it to the floor. Check in regularly for gargantuan bags of FREE clothes that won’t make it to the floor… Have a seat in the lounge area while your friends try on clothes in the fitting rooms… tons of mirrors line the walls for maximum selfie-taking opportunities… there’s plenty to do here if shopping isn’t really your thing.

G.G. NiX has well-curated, wearable, stylish vintage and second-hand clothing. Most items I are around $ 15 – 30, and. they have some really cool and unique pieces in the mix. It has a pretty good selection of both men and women’s clothing. If you’re hoping to find that one-off vintage piece or pieces to complete or compliment your wardrobe, you’re likely to find it here. A great place to check out if you’re looking for some cool clothes!

‘Fashions fade, style is eternal.’- Yves Saint Laurent The difficulty in finding ones own style and successfully maintaining it is exactly why G.G. Nix is such a breath of fresh air. If you are someone like me who grew up on yard sailing, thrift-ing and roadside scouring then you know all too well the commitment and time it takes to truly find your hidden treasures among racks, piles and crates. And if your interested in men’s fashion the task becomes all the more tedious. So finding this great shop on the outskirts of B’wick is a welcome score indeed. G.G. has taken his style and eye for the gorgeous, hideous and sublime and curated a perfect space that never seems to disappoint. With all forms of vintage and local treasures to peruse. As many have noted Greg is an amazing presence, fun, outgoing and determined to help you locate what your looking for with honesty and a smile. Someone who takes pride in his craft and it shows. I went for the waxed leather pants and vintage skull jacket but I return more for the atmosphere and to grab a story a smoke and a coffee with dope urban gypsy. This is how brooklyn is meant to be… eternal style.

G.G. NiX is a very charming little clothing & accessory boutique with friendly staff. It has an interesting selection of used items and things designed by local artists – the kind of stuff that sparks the imagination. I bought a handmade, soft, lightweight leather credit card holder. This adorable store is conveniently on the same block as a mundane L Train Vintage.

I am always a fan of a curated vintage shops. I was on my way to the gym when I noticed this little place was still open for business. It was late and still selling cool threads to the peeps of Bushwick. As soon as I walk in there’s a men’s rack to the right of me. I quickly spotted a gorgeous black, red and white letterman jacket with tons of cool patches and even the back had a gigantic«Death Adders». And the jacket is also one of my favorite brands, Mishka! And if that wasn’t enough, there was a sweet, white denim man vest, a cool Theory skateboards baseball tee and a sweet looking King Diamond tee. A great place for men’s wear. I pulled a couple items to try on myself. I made the HUGE mistake of going up to the make shift dressing room. If you ever wondered how hot hell would feel or the surface of the sun… it’s probably this room. The lights are so powerful and the bulbs are along the wall and are not too far from your body. It was too much. I tried stuff on but felt too uncomfortable in the heat. I will definitely be returning and peeking in for future treasures.

Walking into G.G. Nix is like embarking on a great adventure. I never enter looking for anything in particular but always leave with a new staple for my wardrobe. I’ve gotten skinny black topman jeans, vintage Armani trousers(which are now my prized possession as they fit me like a glove) and I’ve found several funky yet work appropriate tops(from band shirts to blouses). Their huge selection is not only a joy to browse with employees(owners?) who clearly love their jobs, but the clothes are all reasonably priced, too. They also have a diverse range of handmade goods for sale. Definitely work checking out.

Greg is the man! If he doesn’t have something, he will find it!(so he sort of does have it)! It’s a great little shop with some really nice clothing that is affordable and unique. Cheers, Greg!

Greg’s a really nice guy who runs an honest company: fun clothes at an affordable price. G.G.Nix carries a lot of interesting, handpicked pieces at a reasonable cost, but he’s always got bins of new finds at low prices, which is where you might be able to score the best finds. One of my favorite qualities of the shop is its display of work made by local Brooklyn artists of all kinds – most recently, I found an excellent silkscreened shirt made by a fellow Bushwickian, and couldn’t pass it up. Definitely worth checking this spot out.
