First of all, Wow! Two Steve W.‘s and two flawless reviews. That’s a crazy coincidence. I couldn’t recommend Cicco’s more. They do excellent work that can only come from generations of perfecting their craft. But in the case Cicco’s, craft isn’t even the right word; art is. Because each piece of Cicco tailoring is its own work of art. Being born and raised in Butler, I’ve been relying on their work since childhood. From simple alterations to custom creations, the quality and expert craftsmanship shows in every stitch. I also need to mention the ambiance. Entering Cicco’s is like stepping into time warp back to an era when’s traditional men’s fashion was cool. I remember looking at old pictures of my grandfather and seeing him and some of my great uncles on the weekends in their custom threads. That was the time before everything was mass produced and your clothes, and especially your custom suits, were a sign of status. My grandfather was the onsite repair man for heavy steel manufacturing equipment. It was a loud and dirty job that required an incredible amount hard physical work. But it paid well. So when he punched the clocked on Friday, he’d clean up, trade in his dirty overalls for his fine custom threads and head out in his top of line Ford Thunderbird. Entering Cicco’s relaxing and welcoming shop makes you wish you were for those days and be glad that true professional tailoring from a local business has not been lost to the«Wal-Mart consumer culture.» With the overwhelming selections of fabrics and intricate detailed styling options, as well as new pieces art in various phases of progression, along with ready-made items and accessories. I know, especially as a kid going in with my dad, it wasn’t shopping, it was an experience. You feel like you’ve entered a classic multigenerational Milanese haberdashery. It’s a shop itself has as much personality as the wonderful family who have been running it for four generations. Last, but not least, is their competitive pricing. Using a shirt for example, a one of a kind Cicco work of art will likely cost no more, and often less, than buying off the rack at national chains. Cicco’s is a western Pennsylvania institution, a beacon of class and elegance and remains under the stewardship of a family of the finest and most skilled tailors you will likely ever encounter.

I highly recommend Frank Cicco. My brother-in-law passed away unexpectedly and we had to get his son a black suit on very short notice. They agreed to tailor a suit we purchased elsewhere same-day due to the circumstances. We dropped it off at 1pm and it was ready by 5pm. We are so grateful that they accommodated us in our time of need. The tailoring work was just right and I know my brother-in-law would be proud of how his son looked at the funeral. I highly recommend Frank Cicco for all of your tailoring needs.

This place makes custom suits and has been passed down generation after generation. When you walk in you will see all the fabrics and photos of past presidents with suits made from these crafty gentlemen. Also, dont be suprised if you see very large suits waiting to be picked up. More than likely they belong to one of the Steelers players. Cicco’s is also a longtime member of the Custom Tailors and Designers Association of America. They are a nationally known custom tailor and are award winning.
