Escape The Room Challenge

This was my first Escape Room and I had a blast (as well as my group.) I was there with family (6 of us total) and there were 4 teenagers also placed in our group. At first I thought this might make it less fun, but their group also contributed a lot to the «mission» and I think they had fun as well.
Unfortunately, we didn’t escape in time, but that didn’t take away from the fun. The only reasons this didn’t get 5-​stars were:
–10 people in the challenge was too big. This has nothing to do with the other people being strangers, but I feel like 8 people would have made for a better experience (too many cooks in the kitchen, etc.)
–the girl who acted as our host when we arrived was friendly and professional, but she had one of those monotone-​I-​know-​everything voices that grated on me. At first I thought it was just me, but it came up amongst the group when we got dinner afterwards.
I would recommend this to friends and family, and I’d really like to go back and do one of the other challenges as well.

This is my sixth escape room and I have to say, the puzzles are well designed. I like the themes and the story gives a sense of purpose. I also enjoyed the puzzles in the waiting area.
My biggest complaint is the lack of diversity in locks. There were too many standard 3 digit combo locks. Other escape rooms utilized directional locks, word locks, and skeleton keys. I highly recommend this establishment. I will be attempting the other rooms in the future, especially when the third one finally opens. It is supposed to be a technologically advanced room.

What a fun and unique group activity! I seriously felt like I was on Scooby-​Doo, looking for all the clues and trying to figure out the puzzles! It’s very challenging, but so much fun! I have never experienced anything like this before! The story I did was Esmeralda’s Curse and my group had just figured out the last puzzle when our time ran out. The guy who unlocked the door was nice enough to tell us where we had gone wrong. I can’t wait to go back and try out the story with the Mob!

A group of 4 of us went to Escape the Room and tried out the Esmeralda’s Curse challenge. Although we didn’t escape in an hour, we all had a great time while doing it. I bought us a LivingSocial deal to do it not really sure how much fun it would be, but wow, it was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend doing this as a double-​date or with some friends/​family.

We decided to check this place out for a friends birthday and we were not disappointed. We did the Mob room and it was awesome. We had 7 people with us and for that room it was the perfect amount. The room was definitely hard but all of us loved it. The staff was great too. You could tell they were passionate about what they do and they really made it fun. We will be back for another challenge!

I was fortunate enough to be one of the first to be challenged by Esmeralda’s Curse. We have a group of 6 people and we still failed to escape in 60 minutes. We were so close too! Will defiantly go back for other challenges.

We tried it the other night and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this. Bring your group of friends and see if you can beat it!
