Everything I have had from here is awesome, the BLT, burgers, pulled pork, but most of all the steak and egg platter! Great service too.

The sign out front says best breakfast in town and we smiled since there was no town, decided to give it a try. Typical old style café found in this part of western pa and Ohio. Wait staff was friendly, locals present and coffee was delicious. Buckwheat pancakes were very good, french toast better than average, eggs done right. Would definitely stop in again.

Fresh daily prepared food that knocks your socks off. Hard to find with the amount of crappy places in town. This is the kind of place where you’ll find the friendly regulars who love a great meal, but also love the social aspect of a neighborhood diner! Owners operate this place as well as a large farm down the road. They work HARD to serve customers and definitely don’t fall short! Always coming up with new and fun recipes to share with their customers, as well as bringing in guests like Santa every year! Once you try this place you’ll want to come every week, and then before you know it you’ll be one of the regulars too :)

Food and service not the best. Slow and the corned beef hash was just not appealing to look at or eat. Unique atmosphere but we just can’t bring ourselves to go back after our breakfast there.

Sunday morning, with my grandmother and I. Ladies were very busy. I forgot about the local Sunday morning lifestyle! Started with warm tea and coffee, ice cold waters, and a warmed up chocolate chip cookie.(I’m such a pain. Cookies are only good warm tho) I got the western omelet with potatoes and whole wheat bread. This is a meal for a hearty breakfast. Not a chinsey little omelet!!! The egg was a bit greasy on the outside, but the inside was filled with finely diced vegetables and meats. The potatoes required flavour coersion from hot-sauce, but were yummy. My grandmother went with the french toast and a side of bacon. It looked yummy, dusted very lightly in powdered sugar, and the bacon was crisp and delicious. We ended up sharing(sort of) a flat-jack, which is like a very condensed pancake. Not fluffy, but almost buttery-delicious. Her french toast was about two pieces of thick bread, and didn’t quite fill her up, and I ended up taking the better half of my omelet home! It was. HUGE.

Decent. It’s seat-yourself and it took awhile to have someone come to the table, but once they did, the drinks and food were fast. Menu has a lot of options that sound great. I had the biscuits and gravy, which was OK, at best. Luke warm gravy over two small biscuits. My husband really liked his pancakes and bacon. Coffee wasn’t good at all.

Nice place to go for breakfast in Butler! French toast was delicious and the server was very friendly and fast. Definitely will be back here next year on our way up to Renicks tree farm.

This place has the best veggie omelette and the hotcakes were the BOMB. Snagged spots at the breakfast bar. Got to overhear a few local young men exchange stories and essentially«lie to each other» — amusing. Super inexpensive. Great food awesome staff. Found this place on accident. Highlight to our weekend.

Stopped for our first visit this morning for breakfast. My ‘mess’ was decent. The eggs were just right and not too cheesy. My toast came pre-buttered with a nice amount of butter, so if you’re watching your butter consumption, you may want to ask to hold it. I wasn’t very impressed with the home fries. They were dry, and completely unseasoned. No diced onion or anything. My wife wasn’t overly impressed. She said she wouldn’t stop back. She had French toast, a scrambled egg, and bacon. We were impressed with the kids breakfast which featured an generous size pancake, and egg cooked to order, and a piece of bacon. It was a decent portion and much more than our daughter could eat. I’d like to try the lunch offerings another time, if I can convince the wife to give them another shot. Service was friendly. Initially a little slow. It seemed like they take great care of the regulars, and know them on a first name basis. Coffee was promptly refilled, once we received it.

It has been awhile since I have eaten here. I’m just missing this place, and after having a bad experience from a place up the road, I am looking forward to visiting here again. This place is only open for breakfast and lunch but the food is just some great homemade grub. The owners also own their own farm so expect to get some farm fresh food. I will definatly be back soon.

Fails to measure up. One would think that a café associated with a farm would strive for freshness and one would be wrong. Is it asking too much for a restaurant to make coleslaw that’s not from a bag? Or to scrub the dirt out of the corners on the floor? I’d like to end on a positive note, but I just haven’t got one. Come on Reichholds, you can do better than this!

This is a typical Western PA type place. Located on Route 8, just south of Butler. We stopped by for a late lunch. The interior is moderately clean and service is very friendly. Although they have something that resembles a bar in the front, they do not serve any alcohol. BJ got a burger and fries. I got a turkey sandwich with coleslaw on wheat served with potato chips. The food is not fabulous. But it is good and the prices are great.
