Subway

Sadly I must agree with Jen this subway is far below the standards set by the corporate chain. I ordered the meatball sub which should have had meatballs hot enough to melt the cheese. Granted one may know that the meatballs should be held at 140 degrees for no more than four hours this clearly was not the case. Now I even had my sub toasted which surely should have raised the temp to at least 150 right? NOPE not even close. If I was to temp the meatballs post toasting I probably would gave received a temp of 138 — 140 degrees barely melting my cheese.
Now for service the majority of the staff here is great but I really wanted at least a suggestion on the bread for my sub. Unfortunately the new girl who wears no name tag and never smiles or greets anyone could care less about her guest. It is unfortunate because Summer, Ddalys, and the really nice blond girl who usually makes a great sub do their best to enhance the guest experience.
As for the overall cleanliness of this subway much improvement still needs to come into play. Now fortunate for the owner because he or she can virtually run this place into the ground and still be in business due to the lack of choices in the area. If Jersy Mikes decides to actually open near by one may see this subway close it’s doors.

This Subway is actually the better Subway in the Butner area. Every time we go we have to practically beg for more toppings. More than just 2 or 3 pieces of green pepper for example. Sometimes the staff seem clueless and I have had friendlier service, but this is the better subway in Butner.

Look this is a new location and they are working out all the bugs that comes with opening a new store in a small town. I’m a reqular and the service is great and the owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome
