These guys are great. We had called Island hopper to take us to the ferry so we could get cocktails on the island and not have to drive. Be careful to arrange transport once you get there. It’s 12 miles or so before you reach town and the area does not have a taxi service. Call a local pub and ask for the phone number for Javier. He can pick you up after he gets off work at 5 and take you into and out of town. He’s a stand up guy.

Falls Church, VA
This is pretty much the only taxi in Hatteras but they are super responsive and very friendly. We missed them one night and they drove back and picked us up. At only $ 2/​mile, I would recommend to anyone who needs a safe ride home!
