Dirty, poor selection, poor customer service. But for some reason they pay 6/​cents per can or bottle redemption

I’m not a fan. The selection was pretty good, but I thought the staff was rude. I go up to the counter to pay for a 12-​pack of Corona & a lime. I set the beer down on the counter while the cashier is cashing out another customer. There is a police officer to my right. While I wait I get out my credit card & my license because A. I have «see ID» written on my credit card, and B. I’m 27 and expect to still get carded. When it’s my turn to pay one of the ladies behind the counter snatches up my license– no «hello, how are you today?». She looks at the license, looks at me, this continues for a good 30 seconds or so before she passes it to the other lady behind the counter, who does the same thing for another 30 seconds or so. Then they have a conversation about whether or not the picture on the license is me or not. Now, in their defense I had my hair down in the picture, and on this day it was up, but never has my license been scrutinized in this way, and since my picture was taken less than 6 months ago I know for sure that I don’t look so different that any reasonable human being couldn’t figure out that my face and the picture do indeed match! Not to mention, what underage fool would try to buy a case of beer in front of a cop?! I even offered to show them other forms of ID. I honestly thought they were going to send me away empty-​handed, and by the time they finally decided they WOULD sell to me I almost wanted to say the hell with them and take my business elsewhere (I’ll show them! :), but alas, I was in a bit of a hurry and so I paid and left. I’m never going back, and if you look as though you are under 40 I don’t suggest you go there either unless you feel like having a pain in your ass while you checkout.
