Truly unfortunate I can’t award this place less than one star… You’ll see several reviews here addressing the competency of the staff, the quality of customer service, etc. THIS ONE IS ABOUT THE FOOD:
Dog food. Is made with more effort, care and culinary craft than anything you can purchase from this establishment. The quality of the meats and other food stuffs is jarringly poor; the quality of preparation shockingly horrendous; the recipes know not the basic objectives of the dish being served; and, without a nod of embellishment, the stale, old, souring, wilting, rotting nature of almost every ingredient used is beyond polite description. Prices are in line with other, undeniably superior express hibachi places in Clinton and Jackson.
Surprisingly, this place stays pretty busy, a clear indication that Byram wants and needs a hibachi grille in this service area. It would be trivial to open a competing restaurant and win the marketplace. One could simply microwave frozen hibachi dinners and thereby serve more palatable, flavorful, edible food.
I think it is irresponsible to allow this place to serve sushi.
I’m not angry due to a bad customer service experience. I have no animosity for this place or its owners. Unbelievably, Ive not gotten ill from eating at this place on 4 different occasions over the course of 9 months. I’m just writing to warn you that if consistency is the main business objective of this establishment, it has found success in spectacular failure as THE WORST hibachi and sushi in the Jackson-​Metro.

My fiancé and I came to eat at this place for the very first time. When we walked through the door, and started looking at the menu, we were greeted by a black Byram police officer. The officer looked at us, and proceeded to tell us we would have to go somewhere else to eat, the cashier didn’t want to serve us. We looked at each other in disbelief, and informed the officer we had never eaten there before, and we don’t live in Byram. The whole experience sounded fishy and racist. This was my first time to try a new restaurant, and was turned away. I will never even try to go back to the restaurant. That was a pretty shitty thing to do. I hope the restaurant falls through!

My mother in law and I both ordered at the same time however I got my food 15 – 20 minutes after she got hers. We had to ask the cashier twice for what was taking so long and she just replied «I don’t know». The food is decent considering they are a take out place but I’m getting really tired for their nonchalant attitude. It’s like they could care less for my business.

Really nice looking! Looks like they spent a lot of money building the place! Too bad it’s in a crappy strip mall in crappy Bryam! Sushi was brought out on a paper plate and out orders in to-​go boxes, sushi first then my wife’s salad and my chicken fried rice! Waiting on my soup and our order of edamame! Finally our soups and edamame! And my wife’s veggie fried rice! All in to-​go boxes and the soups in plastic bowls! The food was definitely worth the wait and price!!! Wow we got a lot of food and it was hot and delicious! We were surprised!!! I started this review thinking 3 stars until we got our food, then I felt like it deserved 5 stars because the food was so good! Even the sushi was good sushi! Not the best but good stuff for a $ 4 roll! I settled with 4 starts because as good ad the food was, the service sucked! They constantly spoke? japanese? very loudly cracking jokes and laughing, there was a sign asking everyone to «be kind» and «clean up your leftovers» !!! For the amount of money spent making the place looks real nice, and the good food, they could have hired some better help! I mean the cook (I think) brought our food out!!!
