Cabin John Valet

I have been going to Cabin John Valet for as long as I can remember (at least 8+ years) and have had only positive experiences! The owner is lovely, and always smiling and helpful. I have run in with last minute alteration requests, and emergency dry cleaning, and she has made it happen each and every time. Once I had an urgent order, and had not come to pick it up by 6:30pm (they close at 7), so the owner called to remind me to come in before close. But mostly, it’s the comfort of having a dry cleaner I can trust, week after week, for our regular dry cleaning. Very happy to have this gem in the neighborhood and highly recommend!

This was the second time that my clothes were not ready on the day it was promised.
I has an important meeting and had specifically asked to be called if my outfit was not ready. I went there after 5 pm as suggested by the lady. To my dismay She suggested that I should wait there for about an hour so that it would be ready.
When I said I can’t wait, she said she will not charge me for it. I thought, well… that’s nice. BUT OH NO… I went there a week later and she had changed her mind. Even though she wrote NO CHARGE on my ticket. When I said but you told me no charge, she got very angry and ripped the slip and asked me to leave the store.
This business is run with unreliable and crazy people.
Avoid it if you can.
